your train station came out great, its a lot of work but it is worth it. When everything comes together its a great feeling, and by the way, your wife is doing a great job building for you. I have started a 12 ft by 24 ft layout and I don`t know if I will ever finish. Thank for the videos and keep them coming.
That station lighting looks absolutely great! I noticed as the passenger coaches were approaching the station that some of their interior lights were flickering. Perhaps keep-alives in those coaches would improve that situation.
Great idea using the buss bar especially the ones that came off the locomotives. Now you're using your brain housing group. One thing about using LED's is that you can use acrylic paint over the tops of each LED to dull them down a bit. I wrongly used bright white in a coach I was lighting so I painted each LED with some yellow acrylic paint and it made them warm white. Cheers from eastern TN
great lighting! The yellow posts in front of the station probably dont protect against errant parking since the walkway is already 18" above the parking lot ;-)
Connector was a great idea Dave< it will make future repairs much easier! Just a suggestion: You should paint the inside of your walls and roof black, to reduce light bleed. Although your Station has little bleed as it is, some kits will have alot. Thanks for sharing!
Doesn't it feel grand to be able to work on something that will better your layout and bring you joy, instead of days each week setting up/tearing down for live streams. Well done!
The station looks great all lit up. Good idea using the bus bar for all those wires. Looks like printer will be busy getting all those details done for inside. Look forward to seeing that.
That looks great Dave what you can do is fix a sheet of frosted plastic sheet to cover the wiring in the roof it will hide the wires and act like those lighted ceilings you get at modern stations atleast over her like on the clockwork orange or crossrail here in London ,all the best mate Mark
The lights makes the station look great but do you not have a station name that would go nice on the pitched roof at the front maybe with a light lamp.
I have a resin and a filament 3d printer. There's a facebook group for 3d print model trains. You might find someone local to you looking for a project.
Wow, this is so nice. Decided to do something similar, now I know how. Thanks so much.
This was great - thanks so much!

WOW! you are really into this makeover or continuation setup. Thanks
I need to fire up the Road Runner and cruise over to Timmy’s.
Great idea using those old bus bars. Been wondering what to do with those :)
Excellent work well planned out and love the buss bar solution. Jersey Bill

Yes, it’s on the list.

Awesome job, Dave!

Fantastic video Dave keep going at it looking great
Nice work. Possibly 3D print some interior benches and office walls. Just thought.
Yeah, I did that for the Timmies. Detail doesn't need to be amazing, you will barely see it. More of an impression.
Nice work.
The station looks great. 👍
Looks very great 👍 😊
Great Job so glad to see progress
Dave you light up my life 💯
Would be nice if the interior and exterior lighting can be lit separately. That way you can make a more realistic view. But all in all great work
I thought about adding a little inline switch. Might do that in the future.
Absolutely 💯 😎 👍👍 !!!
looks great dave
Great video dave! I'm curious as to where you found the strip LED's? Trying to light some buildings my self and would love to know, thanks!
Ali express, but you can get them anywhere, even the local dollar store. They all seem to be the same design. 12volt, and three leds per section.
I particularly like how the station building came out - the "night" shots are totally awesome. Is the 3D model up on thingieverse or for on sale?
I can't remember if she found the file, or edited a file. I'll need to ask her.
The lights makes the station look great but do you not have a station name that would go nice on the pitched roof at the front maybe with a light lamp.
I will be naming everything when the layout is more complete. The names will be based on people who have helped me with the layout since I started.
Great video mate miss u on a Sunday night but layout looks amazing 👏 👌
Fantastic! Did the wifey approve?
Oh yes. But now I have to change the lights on the Tim Hortons. Too yellow apparently.
Bus bars were brilliant! Where did those connectors come from?
I didn't buy them, but I think they were from Ali Express. I can't find them, but I'll keep looking. I need more.
@@ScottRails I believe they were from Amazon ... led wire connectors
Do you make your own 3D printed items? Do you have ideas for someone without a 3D printer to get some parts made?
I have a resin and a filament 3d printer. There's a facebook group for 3d print model trains. You might find someone local to you looking for a project.
Thank you!
