I know I said I'd post more tips here, but after a day or 2 of this video being live I thought of SO MANY MORE tips. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to remake this video some time within the coming months and post EVERYTHING possible. It'll be a long video, but a definitive one.
Yo from top rank player to top rank player, you should increase your dpi, check the video from battle(non)sense about the dpi latencies, he measured around 7ms difference of input delay between 400dpi and1600dpi, I used to play 400dpi, now I'm using 1600dpi and I can definitely tell the difference, mostly when tracking fast targets. I play fast phase & apm games tho, but trust me. I'm still top 10 top 100 in a lot of Kovaak's drills with 1600dpi just needed to get used to it, btw go check pro settings, I know Hiko and a lot of other top earnings pro players from Valorant and Fortnite already switched to 1600dpi. It just looks like 1600dpi will be the new sweet spot for 1000Hz polling rate
yessir i'm waiting
@@Raglarak I used to play 400” dpi by 400 in game sens but I got rlly bad but now I use 800dpi by 404 in game sens helps me win gunfights more flick advantage and i sick 1 tap accuracy and carry my plat KJ as a Gold 1
@@Raglarak why would it be 1600 though? why not go ahead with 3200 or 4000 and lower in game sense proportionally?
@@xXJeReMiAhXx99 Cuz in some games like Fortnite for example, when you tab to check the inventory, (switch weapons, mats, split with teammates, etc) the in game sense doesn't matter, is the DPI input that matters, so the cursor moves way too fast and it's hard to control, so in the end it takes you way more time to arrange everything and stuff than with lower dpi, also because after 1600dpi the input lag difference when tracking is less than -0.5ms so diminishing returns
Time to learn from the best
Learning from you shevi
@@KoopaFPS lol
Yeah, I think the most important thing I have learnt by matter of age - Do NOT play when you don't feel too good about it. And also, don't be too hard on yourself + don't focus just on one point of your gameplay. When I wanted to be as much accurate as possible, I lost speed of reactions and self awareness. When I wanted to push as much Kill per minute ratio, I lost self awareness again and I started hunting targets blindly and I was dying way more. Play to enjoy it.
Edit: Also try to be consistent with your settings. When you will change mouse sens too often, or some other very important parameter, you will be very inconsistent.
15:35 Bro, I almost choked on my coffee!
Tip 20+: Use “echo location”. In other words USE SOUND to locate enemies and if they’re running from around the corner use sound to time your shots. This skill alone can get you pretty far.
Tip 20+: if you know there’s more than one enemy coming at you try to isolate one enemy at a time by catching them off with “angles” so you don’t have to face more than one enemy at a time (Divide and conquer / guerrilla warfare method). This method requires “echo location” method above for better results.
Tip 20+: don’t use wireless equipment but if you do have to use it, make sure you get the lowest latency equipment you can get.
I've found a few good things to talk about that I may just make another video. Including this.
@@BijanJamshidi The second one is a military tactic called "slicing the pie".
GOOD wireless peripherals do not have more latency compared to wired anymore
Confident yet professional while speaking when doing videos. More content creators should take notice of this channel
Care to state anything else obvious…?
Can we all just admire this guy ? Like hes so informative yet you dont feel like he is reading a list of info like a teacher… deliver the information like your close mate, very chill and easy to understand yet packs a lot of info… i wish all youtuber like this… been subscribing since your old benq 240hz monitor and always keeping my eyeballs for your new vids… love it ❤️
great video. I'm so glad someone mentioned being healthy as one of the tips, this is sometimes overlooked a lot. Anyone talks about how being in a good mental state can help you perform better and react better to different situations. I realize that after sleeping more hours, eating healthy, drinking more water and doing some exercise I dont get tilted anymore and can play on a better level that some of my friends that might play more hours.
OMG! My favourite RUclips content creator has been a CS:GO fan all along! So happy to know this.
Watching this quite late, but great videos! Hope you make more videos like this covering posture and optimizing your setup to max out the potential, many many people need those!
Forgetting to breathe is something i do LMAO
Great video as always, Bijan. Keep going at it the way you are and you will continue to grow! Love your stuff!
Thanks for this great video, also I really liked that height-adjustable table :)
Your videos are always perfectly put together I love the quality and professionalism
I just found your channel looking at monitor reviews. This is a great video! I love your approach! All points are very accurate and beneficial to any player.
Bro imma unpack a lot here. Since I was young I wanted to be really, really good at games. I wanted to do it for a living. I fucking LOVE it. I've also been super depressed and suicidal literally most of my life. My dreams fell by the wayside because well, I wasn't even good at life. Might as well give up on my dreams and become a disappointment. Now I'm here, 22 years old, and I'm saying screw it. Im going to do what I love, and I'm going to be really good at it. I'm getting a career where ill have my own hours and make a lot of money, which means I'll be able to fund this once I get on my feet. Life has really kicked me in the balls this week man, and its one of the lowest I've ever been. Down here from the bottom though I can see the light up top and the things that bring me there. Gaming is one of them. Its so hard not to let the toxicity of other gamers get me down on my journey to getting better, but I'm trying everyday. For over a decade living has been a struggle, imma start struggling doing what I love. Sorry, I dont even know who you are man. I just needed to get that off my chest.
The video that I waited and asked for is finally here!
Keep up this amazing content Bijan!
Love this video, even though I already know most of the things u mentioned, it's still great to have someone to remind me lol.
Awesome stuff, really. Thanks you so much man 💪🏻
ESL is doing player POV for CSGO now that would be a great way to learn about individual players. Also a tip I like to give is to get a small keyboard I see some pro players with a fullsize at a 90 degree angle which is unnecessary. Good 60% boards are really affordable these days. It also makes it so you can put your shoulders parallel resulting in a better posture.
minor addition: the windows sensitivity settings is at 6/11 because that's the original 1:1 ratio. you want the game or the mouse driver to do the scaling, not the man in the middle.
bonus info regarding the acceleration: it's not that acceleration in itself is bad - in fact you can learn to work with it quite well - but the windows implementation is garbage, because it's essentially formed like a staircase instead of a straight line. source ruclips.net/video/SBXv0xi-wyQ/видео.html
Gotta love the followthrough 👍👍👍
I just realized I’ve been watching your videos and I haven’t been subscribed this whole time. In fact I even bought a 1440p 270hz predator monitor because of your review. Keep it up 🔥🔥
great video , thanks for all the information !
Tbh I started workin out and it improved my aim a lot, that's one of the most underrated tips in these videos! Cus when ur stronger ur mouse just feels lighter.
thanks man finally i come to know your DPI and ingame sensi .....thumbs up as always
Don't focus on your rank and think solely on your performance and strategy you need for the game you are in it.
Your rank is only a mirror of your ability to win games. A higher rank won't make you play any better but your better plays will make you rank higher up.
Try to enjoy ''the game'' instead of make yourself burn out on the chase for the elo points.
This advice is available for any competitive game out there, not just for fps games.
Cheers
Grinded this valorant season a full rank up from gold 2 to plat 2. Biggest thing was playing on a positive mindset to change it up and grind out wins consistently
Great tips!
We Support You With Our Hearts you are the best
I took 10 km walk before gaming and had a healthy snack (banana+bread slice) afterwards. It took my reaction time from slow/tired to extreme speed. While i was playing, my current rank felt like slowmo movie compared to earlier days fast paced games. I guess the fresh air freshened my brain's capability to process information. So whoever reads this, you should try out exercising or going outside before gaming. It may do some wonders for your thinking, reaction time and overall mood. 😀
This is so right. I notice a big difference after a snack blood sugar is right and I just had a productive day
Props for mentioning exercise and diet. It's usually unfortunately an afterthought but apart from being potentially life changing beyond getting better at games, it has an insane impact. I'm one of those people that really does well on keto and low carb in general, and I feel like a completely different person both in terms of energy levels and cognitive performance. Another potential big factor is that the constant inflammation resulting from bad diet can be a big contributor to tilt and getting angry, which absolutely kill your mental well being and performance when playing.
Here's my story.
I started playing FPS in 1992 and I quickly realized that everyone is better than me. 30 years later it's still the case 😂 I still have hope.
Hahaha same
@@lekmannen9990 you want to talk about it? 😂
YERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR LOVING THIS EXPANSION OF CONTENT.
Love these monitor reviews
Meant to say I love your monitor reviews on the 360 hz Alienware review but forgot I had auto play on lol. Just got mine at micro center for $565
I'm surprised you mentioned posture it's absolutely the best thing to maintain while gaming, it helps breathing and focus, it's sort of like an anchor during stressful situations, it was really hard to work with when I first started doing it on console, but after it got comfortable it yielded unbelievable results and boosted my confidence! Absolutely the best tip IMO!
Aye bijan expanding his curriculum… nice
Can't be all reviews. I need timeless videos that apply years from now even ;)

Sums it up well: I need to get a heavy cat! Thanks for the great video!
Fantastic Video
Comms are important for giving out as well. If u listen any certain sound cue make a habit of saying out loud, or if u and ur teammate are walking in an alley and have to check both left and right corner, call out so that both of u doesn't end up checking the same corner. This will eventually make u a better teamplayer.
Higher DPI reduces latency. 1600 is good. Just reduce in game sensitivity to accommodate the turn speed making it the same. I believe the single biggest thing I have purchased was probably a glass mouse pad. I don't want to plug any brands but I never would have thought it... as far as consistency and just hitting that flow state and not having to think where the ret goes while flicking, glass pad did it for me.
He does it all!
14:42 professional teabag, i respect that.
Watching the video and left a like just like promised in the stream
Thanks for this video:)
Genial. Excellent video!
Turns out i've been playing with enhanced pointer precision on for the last 8 months. :):)
😂
Enjoy your better aim ;)
Probably didn't make a big difference since most modern games use Raw Input which isn't processed by windows
I turned it off and it felt really weird first but it helps turning it off
I subbed you after watching your mouse review and you playing valoant DM, you were really crispy, now I see why! Btw did you completely quit cs or play a bit sometimes
Most of the stuff I knew already, but the video is still great. All videos are great on Bijan's channel, he's just a real good homie
Any Russian players in NA? Comment below, let's play
Bijan I like your videos can you please do reviews on some lower end monitors or budget options like the xf250q from the 240hz class and maybe the g24f. I was planning to buy a monitor and I was looking for reviews on budget options and almost non of them do them with the details and analysis you give.
Hi Bijan! Not sure if you remember me. You've answered a few of my questions but today I've got 2 lol
1) Why do you prefer the Senheiser headset over other options?
2) Any suggestions for a good mic to have on my desk so I don't have to speak into my headset mic (which for whatever reason has high sensitivity in terms of noise level needed to be picked up no matter what settings I change (hyper x cloud alpha S))
something that helped me to stay calm was not say anything after i die and to think about how i die which helped me a lot
Id also recommended (idk if you said this or not) Definitely play with the intention of winning/getting better going through the motions does nothing for you. Also having fun is the most import step of all
2014 and 2015 was the best find to play csgo.
Everyone who reached global after that never had the true CSGO experience
Great vid! What is ur personal monitor u use for FPS games?
changing the key repeat rate to fastest in windows also helps response time when you're holding a key on cooldown
this video is great not alot like this are out there nice
12:40 aim training in runescape like a man
good video and advice! May I ask u that if there is a shaking when your screen is on the desk on use arm mount? if the mouse hand is as light as possible but there is still some wobble, what will you suggest? I have a desk similar to urs which lift automatically,so it's hard to reinforce it sideways to stop shaking, and of course, I can't screw the desk on the wall, which make the lift feature totally useless.
I liked ur dumbbell
Valorant spray patterns are only predictable for a couple of bullets then it becomes random. Same with counter strafing in val its not needed because you don't have a deceleration period
Well one thing is for sure, you will definetly need to spend some time until you are good. Its a longer process
Good video. I was surprised to see that you don't use an Artisan mouse pad. Thoughts? maybe a video?
Haven't gotten one. Not sure what the hype is about but I'll try one and see what's up.
One thing I'll add about sensitivity is that it's very much dependant on personal preference and the games that you play. But yeah don't keep something ridiculous like 6 cm per 360.
so... 12cm per 360?
Tip: Don't get Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs). I did and now I can only use a Xbox controller. In other words, I'm now target practice for Mouse Users. 🤕
:(
Hey Bijan, could you please try out an artisan mousepad…? I’m convinced you’d love it and anyone who tries one after viewing your review would too!
that mousepad is much more expensive than my mice hahaha
You stated that keyboards are not as big of a deal, but can you offer a budget, mid and high end suggestion, please? It would be nice to see what the options are. Thank you.
Loved the video, there is excellent information here.
Will do!
I thought that windows mouse acceleration only affected windows. I'm pretty sure games like Valorant and CSGO use the raw input of the mouse instead of the accelerated cursor, that's why that option is default in the settings.
How about the shift button any tips there ? like when to let go etc:D?
Can you make a video ranking the best 1440p monitor now that there's a lot of new monitor came out?
High refresh rate monitors are a must.
I leave on my enhanced pointer precision, as I like it better with multiple monitor setups.
Doesn't matter for games anyway because auf raw input so I wouldn't say this is a necessarity
The man
shooters aside from 1v1 games are probably the only ones where you can almost never blame teammates lmao
In the description, you said that keyboards don't matter as much. But in my opinion, keyboard size matters because if your keyboard is too big you lose mouse space.
which EMB is better? The Odyssey G7 or the 1440p 240hz Acer Jack of all Trades EMB? Cant decide between these 2 and want to go for best Performance in Gaming.
9:08 An overly blood thirsty purple haired person once said "How did we forget the spike?"
I never even knew the mouse acceleration was a thing, I'll have to try disabling that later 🤔
I cannot insist enough, if you guys go for a very low e-sens that's gonna make you use your whole arm : get a proper chair AND position your upper arm so it's loose and your elbow closest possible to your body, forearm almost perpendicular.
Otherwise you could stress your biceps tendons and get a tendonitis (you'll feel pain in the shoulder and biceps and maybe triceps too).
It might seem harmless but gaming for hours trying to go for performance can do damage.
It's an e-sport, take care of yourself.
I'm not talking about controller players here, they're just chilling, those guys aren't moving a muscle and aren't good anyway, I'm talking about the PC master race.
I'M KIDDING!!! I'm not trying to start a war here, love you controller guys 😂
We want your csgo frag compilation video.
My biggest issue is, I'm still not entirely used to aiming on mouse. I heard something that goes like this. "If you're having an off day on console (controller) you won't perform too terribly because of aim assist, but if you feel off on Mouse, you'll have a terrible experience." And that's how I feel on mouse. I have days where I'm performing decent, landing my shots, and others where I just can't get anything going. Practice makes perfect I guess but idk :/
Warm up, mate, warm up. Every time I go to play Battlefield 4 I need to calibrate myself on a test range. Otherwise I feel like I never played that game before.
Is there really such a thing as good posture when sitting down? I mean the mere act of sitting, to my knowledge, is something we are inherently incompatible with and it just messes with your spin in the long run since your glutes aren't engaged to support the spine. I gotta invest in a standing desk...
Yes there is, you can call it a good sitting posture or position. And even if long periods of sitting is bad for you, sitting the same time with bad ergonomics is of course worse.
Do you use the razer 3xl deskmat in this Video?
So you say, my Old laptop with a 59hz refreshrate and a shity internet conection will not get me to radiant???
Damit. Guess i need to buy some more BTC to afford a new Computer and Monitor in the coming years.
Good Video very straight to the Point.
Yes that's what I'm saying 😂
ayy you faze clan fan? Olof and karrygan back playing :D
Actually 90 percent of the things you said I already knew. The only think holding me back is my 200ms reaction time
what keyboard, mouse and mousepad you use?
damn i want to know what keyboards are you using, i saw a black 65% in other video and that white is 75%?
Saving this one. Lowering DPI now.
input lag is reduced with higher DPI (800-1600), check if you can go lower eDPI with high DPI
@@Daniel-ye1ss soo u say lower in game sens and high dpi
@@9rave969 yea, of course it makes more sense to use what feels best for you. But technically higher DPI is lower inputlag
U got a pretty hard habbit of crouching when shooting
optimize your windows 10 and pc components. i don't know how it looks if i type another youtuber's name but fr33thy's optimization guides are what you guys supposed to do.
Hey guys so I played r6 for a team i was top 6 k, and faceit level 10 csgo Im feeling like getting back into cs go to get better at fps games at general yall think i should ?
I felt my back from that posture thingy
FIX IT
Make sure you have good air circulation in your room and no bad smells that your brain will be annoyed by
thank
I'm not sure about the sleep part even w/o my phone in my room i can't sleep. So i often sleep between 2-4am. Do you have any tips
About mouse sensitivity, it appears that is better to keep the mouse DPI as high as possible and lower only the Windows or in-game sensitivity. For example 1600 DPI x0.25 is better than 400 DPI x1.0.
Source: ruclips.net/video/imYBTj2RXFs/видео.html&ab_channel=OptimumTech
For me low sensitivity is bad, I perform WORSE even after 2 weeks of trying to get used to it. I switched to 35cm and it's wayy better
I play best when i don't play at all. And my brain likes it.
