Lea Rayne Control Deck - July 2024 (Replays + Decklist)

Be real, who else forgot she was still in the game?
Lea used to be a very strong warlord in this game for a few months. All of that ended when they nerfed her ability, now it only reduces the cost by 1 instead of 2. Regardless, that is still a decent ability and can, when combined with her high initiative and cards like Drilling Site, still result in you playing your opponents cards before they get to do the same.
This deck is a control deck, aimed at annoying the hell out of your opponent by playing their own cards ahead of curve, denying them board presence and even reducing their Energy with cards like Desolate Ground. Generally the deck does pretty well into midrange decks and decks that play a fair number of higher cost troops, since those get maximum value from all the ramp Lea is capable of with this deck. Of course this means that most swarm decks that just play a load of small troops will naturally do pretty well into her.
This bad matchup into swarm is why we are running a big portion of AoE cards, AoE dmg on Rally troops, AoE tactics etc etc. Regardless, the matchup is still not that great for her.
Overall this is a very fun deck with a very underrepresented warlord at the moment that worked very well in Low Terra for me.

@@victorjaviergutierrezmaldo3228 he once had "deal 1 damage copy a random card from the enemy deck" changed into deal 2 damage and getting a random card from the enemy deck.
His initiative was also high but it was changed to medium. Still he's a formidable warlord.
