Warriors Of The World United is without question one of the greatest songs ever made, and this cover does it 200% justice.
Don't know what to say. The simplicity, yet beauty of the original...
This is one of my all time favorite Manowar songs. My daughter was called out for singing it when she was in kindergarten. I would love to see a similar cover to another favorite, Sabaton’s Carolus Rex.

Being a huge Manowar fan I expected a lot from this cover. In the early stages it really delivered as it was supposed to. Introducing the sheer amount of different vocalists was first very confusing but then it felt quite refreshing. Everyone had their place instead of it being a crazy mash up of stuff.
Usually I'm not a fan of those long screams but in the last chorus when Melissa Bonny unleashed her scream it was insanity. A while later Ben Metzner continued and I was even more blown away. When Thomas Winkler unleashed The last high note I was already unconscious.
That was pure excellence.
Not to mention how the video was made. It never grows old, just like none of the Feuerschwanz videos. They're like movies that you can watch time and time again without growing tired.

Music videos are fun as hell to shoot. You get a lot of artistic leeway, because there's no actual script to follow. Unless you have a dick for a director, they give you the rundown, and you just take the idea and run with it. When you see the result with the music put to your scenes, it's cool as shit.

@@vepristhorn8278 His could’ve been better, but considering he did silly poses all the time in Gloryhammer I’m not surprised that he continued it (sans the giant space hammer). I’m not convinced that the choreographer (if there was one) didn’t just go “alright everyone do something” and rolled with it. Alea and Ben had the best of the bunch IMO, though (Melissa’s were interesting, but felt too… flowy?)

It honestly wouldn't matter if the new singer was bad, I'm too hooked on the story to not keep listening. We're apparently following Angus McFife V now, as opposed to the 1st in the 1st album and XIII in the other 2.

This literally brings tears to my eyes. Brought me back to when I first heard Manowar. That feeling of hope and inspiration I had as kid. It was unlike anything I ever heard and really cemented my love of heavy metal music.
Imagine being Gloryhammer, firing the soul of your band, and then having him show up like this.
They 100% had their own reasons but yeah, firing Tom was a catastrophic move for the band, finding his replacement will be really hard with his voice and energy on stage. But at least he shouldn't have any issues finding another good band to sing for if he wants

He was most likely let go from gloryhammer because of his refusal to go through vocal training. Really shows in his last live performance

Even if that's what actually happened, don't you think it's just way over the top to fire him via email ? I mean, they have been together for more than a decade. Moreover, if the reason is that simple, why don't they just come clean instead of letting the fans speculate
@@ChloeHartzog They are withholding information at Thomas's request at the moment, so I went with the most likely scenario which also seems to be the consensus at r/gloryhammer. His voice has been audibly diminishing and it's especially obvious during his last few concerts. While I'm really sad to see him go, his complete lack of vocal training and over confidence seems to have done him in this time.

First time listen to this band and I am so excited, all songs are amazing!
This is seven levels of absolute f**king awesomeness by the power of the mighty gods and goddesses themselves. Incredible version, you’ve done justice to the original whilst also putting your own spin on it and it’s amazing. Also, brilliant make up, great costumes and a wonderful castle ruin. This has made me emotional to be reunited with all the metal warriors of the world out there when we can finally go to live festivals etc again.
