Glad I watched this video. I was going to buy them to replace my civics wimpy horn. But after hearing them. Was kinda disappointed.

The audio doesn’t come through great but they are much better than the single stock horn if that’s what you’re running.

Awesome. I like Pt cruisers. They are such quirky little cars

It’s been a great car! For $600 bucks I e definitely gotten my moneys worth, and I don’t feel so bad doing all those crazy projects on it.

The instructions said not to put them where water would get into them but I see you install them behind the grill. So it's ok to put them there where water will be getting to them?

I like where they both are

I’ve driven in the rain a couple of times with them here and it’s been fine. I think as long as they can’t be submerged you should be fine. They’ll get wet where the horns usually go anyway.

Is it just me or did it sound louder originally? Hard to tell I guess on the video.

Probably just how the video made it, they’re MUCH louder in person.

Keep in mind cameras typically automatically adjust sound and lighting so it'll take lound sounds and adjust to a lower setting

he literally said he didn't want to, at the end of the video??? DUH??? Also he's literally just doin his thing and uploading a cool video about wiring up some horns, who cares if he paints them?

    • @joshuab.fletcher5245

well he commented about how big and noticeable they were so painting them would have made them more discreet. but since he already drives a PT cruiser he obviously doesn’t care about being cool. It’s like the dorkiest car ever, especially for a guy! And why are you making his bond? Do you blow him or something? If not maybe you should you guys seem like a good match. And because I’m not a moron and know how to do shit myself I had ZERO need to watch this video until the end. But YOU were obviously entranced by him doing his thing!!! Subscribe then why don’t ya! LOL

They were pretty noticeable until everything was buttoned up and then they get hidden pretty well.
And no, I don’t care about being cool, nor do I do any of this for validation from others. Real car enthusiasts know it’s about wrench time and knowing/improving your machine. Not what badge you’re able to purchase.

No CAR ENTHUSIAST owns or drives a PT CRUISER !!! Hahahaha. you can polish a turd up all you want to, it’s still a piece of shit. LOL

@@joshuab.fletcher5245big turbo, 4” intake, 1000cc injectors, 3bar sensors, hard pipes, custom tune, custom external wastegate, 3” exhaust with cutout, ARP headstuds, pushing 20+psi boost, all with a manual transmission and all work done by me and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. But what do I know…
THAT is what car guys do. We work with what we got. One of the best parts about this car is that no one suspects a 400hp pt cruiser with faded paint. It’s hilarious.
Anyway, do you. I’m not trying to convert you or anything. I honestly don’t care, but regardless, thanks for watching!

You must put the red on one side and the black on the other they must match if they do not they will cancel each other out that's an old speaker trick going back to the old stereo days plus plus minus minus if they're opposite it will dimish the effect. I have a pair of these and at 14 volts input they both combine pulled close to 8 amps of current at 14 volts DC.
