Even in narrow corridor of Beach Egmore line, 4th line and also MRTS line to beach were just completed now with lot of demolishing and new island platform at Fort Stn and Park station while also new signal room near park station while FOB also underwent in busy corridor. It took nearly 2 years and still 5% work needs completion. Great effort by you in explaining things in detail. thanks sir
Once again great video Nataraj Sir, I am the same Dharwad guy that commented few days back. The railway lines with ramp diverging after baiyyappanahalli into Salem line, Chennai main line which diverges into Channasandra ( path followed by Udyan express towards mumbai ) and a line coming and merging to Chennai mail line from Channasandra. Always witnessed these lines in the night and early morning times. It is always exciting to watch it everytime though.
I'm sure most of us wouldn't understand the detailing of your presentation (i being one of them) but we definitely get a general idea what is happening. But the moot question is yappo ? Kudos to your hard work. 👌
The single, abandoned line towards Suranjan das road I think used to be operational until 2006 or so, right? Glad you covered every single detail!! Loved it
Well made and well explained. Your explanation will be the final as I find no other options available for the alignment in the existing scenario Got an opportunity to see the development as I travelled by Vande Bharat up and down journey. SBC to CANTT was unable to see as my journey ended and started with CANTT
Looking forward to your video regarding the byappanahalli junction. I am very curious about the traffic flow plan there and whether there will be a connection from salem side to yelahanka side
Sir, you said, the 3rd and 4th line near Whitefield get shift alignment. Is that two newly building lines intersect on main lines? Wouldn't be a problem everytime to cross(intersecting) the main lines?
I actually think K-ride is going the wrong way about doing suburban rail. What they should have done is tunneled under existing railway in the most congested parts (as in a triangle junction underground between Yeshwantpur, KSR and BLR East with tunnels going as far as KR Puram, Nayadanahalli, and YPR). You can then use these tunnels to through run suburban services at high speed through the city. Once out of the tunnel, they can take over the existing MEMU services. So you will end up having a MYS-MKPM service with reducing frequency the further you go out (enabled by short turns at Kengeri and Whitefield). Similarly you can set up Kengeri-YPR-Airport suburban service or Hosur-YPR-Tumkur service out even Hosur-Baiyappanahalli-SMVT-Airport service (though this would require another underground junction at Baiyyappanahalli(, all of which can easily run 4 trains per hour. Using existing infrastructure and relieving it wherever necessary will be cheaper and make a "build as you expand service" scenario.
So, the colony before East Rly station on the right side is not disturbed for the construction of the lines. What about the lines between KSR and Cantt stations? When will that construction start? Any information ?
Very informative and well presented. Are there plans for 1. KSR Bengaluru to Cantt tripling? 2. Connecting platform 1,2,3,4 of KSR Bengaluru to Mysore tracks
Unfortunately these projects should have happened at least 2 decades back. Cant say destroying to be honest. if SWR operate more trains to Whitefield. People on road will switch to trains and will reduce traffic eventually saving Bengaluru from pollution

Good work Natarajan! Looking forward to more updates on this section in the future.
Awesome! Thank you for the technical explanation Natarajan! Always look forward to well researched videos from your side, keep it up!

One of the lines has been short ended because they don't have money.
Thank You for the video.
Keep Updating Bengaluru Suburban Rail videos 😄

Excellent explanation Natarajan sir
Pls share more details on how the traffic will flow into Salem ramp from main line
Nice Blog !!!

Wonderful Coverage. Very Well Explained
Another masterpiece ❤️
Loved it
Good work and Thanks for very clear explanation.
Thank you
Thank you for the detailed explanation. Kindly provide updates on Penukonda Dharmavaram doubling
Another 10 or more years maybe for the completion of this quadraple project... We have to be patient as the work is dead slow
Thank you Natarajan. I've been wondering whats happening in this section and now got a clarity.
Thanks for Updating Brother
The hard work you have put in for explaining is great 👍❤

Awesome
Nice update.
Thank you
If fasten the works complete picture will be after 6-8 months...Nice work Buddy...Channasandra Junction must be multi transport hub
very informative, as i stay near to railway track of KJM station, a new building has come near it, what is it for .... thanks❤❤❤
Sir, you said, the 3rd and 4th line near Whitefield get shift alignment. Is that two newly building lines intersect on main lines? Wouldn't be a problem everytime to cross(intersecting) the main lines?
Thank you. SO will the line to BEML be revived?
There are also proposals of quadrupling from Bengaluru-Mysuru, Hospet-Guntakal and Whitefield to Jolarpettai. D'you have any updates on that bro?
Without Quad Tracks between SBC and BNC, wouldn't that cause a bottleneck at BNC from MAS side?
Remarkable

Bengaluru City to Bengaluru Cantt. is dropped. It will be double line only
Very informative and well presented. Are there plans for
1. KSR Bengaluru to Cantt tripling? 2. Connecting platform 1,2,3,4 of KSR Bengaluru to Mysore tracks
Thank you
1. No plans. The available space is expected to be used for elevated Suburban line
2. No plans of connecting
@NatarajanC12119 Thanks for the reply. Is it not at all possible to connect platforms 1..4 to Mysore tracks? What's the hindrance?
I guess it will be completed by 2033
What about the railway bridge on Miller's road. Will it be upgraded or strengthened to have more tracks. Your comments please.😊
Miller's road on Bengaluru East side already has 4 tracks built. No more additional tracks for now.
Miller's road on KSR Bengaluru side, no plans
@@NatarajanC12119the bridge itself has become old.
Any updates of commissioning of speed upgradation in SBC - JTJ section???
Not yet
Is it possible to revive BMEL Station
Because of bus operators lobby, this railway line will never be finished.
That means 06387 KSR to BWT demu via CBP will not halt at Bengaluru cantonment for few months. What do you foresee Mr. Natarajan.
Very much possible
Great detailed explanation... 😊
Bro Jolarpettai KR Puram 130 kph update?
Think swr is totally confused with this project

Nice coverage!! The bitter truth is, Quadrupling project❌ Destroying older Bengaluru project✔
