Love these guys to death but I mean we still would have the originals,😄 we don’t always have to just go ape shit crazy over cover bands.
@@jaymea8907 I agree to a certain extent, but in the case of the originals we usually didn't get a chance to see the musicianship up close and personal that it takes to produce these. Plus, most of the songs weren't recorded live and to capture the sound without multi-tracking and over dubs is pretty special.

I closed my eyes to concentrate on hearing the singer for this song. He nailed it!! Instruments were just as great! You guys are the greatest band I have heard.

This is definitive, dispositive. Untouchable. Every element precisely in place, yet infused with a spontaneity and spirit not often seen or heard in covers. You all had me in goose bumps from the first note to the ending chord. I just cannot say enough about how good this is. Makes me want to walk TO Memphis.

Stunning. LLB has left me in tears with this one. We are so blessed to bask in the artistry of these professional musicians. Everyone here is fantastic, of course, but a few shout-outs... Benji's incredible lead vocal on this Marc Cohn classic... Austin's beautiful piano work (that piano hook is a HUGE part of this one), Mike bringin' out the gospel in that sweet Hammond B3, and "the girls" with the backing vocals were perfect. The LLC Collective never fails to amaze...

Let me tell you why I think Jessica McKenney is such a special person. She personifies music. She feels it to the marrow. She cannot hear or sing a song without being 100% vested. When she is part of a production, she gives it a unique presence, and perfection.

I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years in Canada and I have always prided myself in teaching note for note. I smile every time I listen to LLB because you guys nail it note for note every time. I know that's the goal lol, but I can feel it, and best of all, you guys got some serious MOJO and you can cook. One of the great joys of listening to your re-makes, is the ability of the listener to hear, and see, a level of musical detail that is not obvious when listening to these songs on the radio. Even with the improvements of high-end digital recording played over internet bandwidth, there is still more to be discovered in a well-produced video such as one of yours. Once again, remarkably done!

Saw a comment referencing LLB as a cover band, don’t get me wrong I have a lot of respect for top notch cover bands or anyone that picks up an instrument or sings, but I feel LLB are on a different level I.e. they actually mirror and in many cases sound better than the original artists they cover. They dig deep into how the songs they cover were written, produced and put together. Tight, tight and tight! They never disappoint and their strive for perfection pays off.
Vocalist did an absolutely phenomenal job. I got the same chills I do when I hear the original. Great job as always by the band as well, esp the piano player. Well done folks!

I feel like the keyboard section never gets the love they deserve in the comments. I just said that to give some love to the keys. These guys actually carry EVERY song you guys do from "My Life" to "Kyrie". Give it up for these that labor the Ebony and ivory.

Just...wow! IF I had to compare anything, I would compare you to my other absolute favorite cover/tribute band Leonid and Friends...because both of you are SPOT on. No "making it your own"...but playing songs as they were played, and sounding as good...if not better. Amazing!

WOW!!!!! Better than the original to me! I have heard many cool easter eggs in the original that you chose to push up in the mix and I'm here for it!! Benji has a KILLER voice. Perfect cover, the piano, the hammond, the guitars, and this drummer is ALWAYS so good! And those backing vocals were incredible. Bravo.
What a vocal performance! Every bit as good as the original. And such a great song. You hope as a songwriter you write such a song once in your life. That studio also enhances your sound, (if that is even possible). Somehow with these last two videos you have moved a level up (to repeat, if that is even possible!).

Great doesn't start to describe LLB .Any artist that you cover should really be humbled because you do it right or not at all. I'm constantly thinking of songs that I wish you would cover. The amount of talent by everyone is nothing short of amazing.

Can't believe I'm typing this on a public forum, but this is better than Hindley Street, really sorry! Both groups did a great job! I wouldn't have the courage to record myself playing cover songs...! Maybe it's different experiences on different continents, North America and Australia...? 😢
