I agree about their adverts. I tried Native for a little over 2 months. They’re so highly scented but it didn’t do a thing for underarm odor. I went back to using antiperspirants/deodorants that contain aluminum.
Walgreens needs to rein it in on the price gouging. They are currently charging like $5 dollars for cotton balls and suspiciously only stock their store brand 😅
I feel like Walgreens has even higher prices than cvs. Those 2 lead the pack in terms of inflated pricing. I try to stick to Walmart or Target or amazon. Always appreciate your videos!
Walgreens price gouges and then some. I’m not interested in becoming a member and searching through coupons to possibly pay the same price that the same product would cost at literally any other store or Amazon. Not to mention you usually have to buy two products to get the “deal” and it still costs more than if you bought two products at Target or Walmart.
Differentiating between deodorants and antiperspirants is always a good message. Lots of folks are still unaware that they are totally different products. (It is silly that Deodorants are marketed as "aluminum-free". It would be akin to the Dairy Industry claiming that their products are "gluten-free" or bread packages boldly claiming that they are Lactose-free.)

I understand Walgreens has to maintain its finances, and one of the ways in order to do so is to raise prices. But I feel like it caused the opposite effect: it wards people away, since they're aware the products there are more expensive than other locations 😅 as a result, the high prices might be hurting them more in the long run. I'm not sure how others feel about this, so I would love some thoughts. (My thoughts are the same in regards to CVS). My local Walgreens is relatively empty, as Target, CVS, and Rite Aid are all a few blocks away
Same, worked at CVS and shocking seeing stuff I stocked was easily 2-3x the price than at Target. When I worked at Walgreens in college years back it definitely was more expensive but not THIS bad. What happened!!

I'm not an ex-employee of Walgreen nor a dermatologist however I had to see a dermatologist because of a skin infection on my face. Very interesting visit. Every over the counter cosmetic, from the most expensive to the least, is not going to penetrate through that top layer of skin. The cosmetic industry has made tons of millions of dollars and we women bought into their lies. I am so angry about the amount of money I have spent on moisturizer when I could have just applied vaseline. Most importantly, I have saved myself a ton of money just visiting a dermatologist. My skin care routine has been extremely simplified! Seek out a dermatologist to create a skin care regimen for you. You will save yourself time and a lot of money.

Walgreens and cvs prices are INSANE. I only go to cvs because of the weekly coupons and stuff, but even after that it’s about the same as other places. Especially recently! Sidenote- I remember when the off brand vaseline lotion was $3 for 24oz and Neutrogena hydro boost cream was under $20!
I use Arnica for bruising as I bruise easily. It does work to shorten the healing time by a third. The trick is to use it as many times in the day, as you can. Twice a day won’t do a thing. 8,9, or 10 times a day is the trick.
I personally have been using the kitsch tea tree shampoo bar for my very oily and dandruff ridden hair and it works wonderful! I use it every day and have never been irritated by it. My hair loves it. Lasts a long time and super easy to use! I especially love that it isn’t made with coconut oil. Coconut oil is in ALOT of shampoo bars that I’ve tried in the past and those caused so much build up in my hair and scalp. I’ve tried two shampoo bars from kitsch and both have been great for my very sensitive skin/scalp/hair. I get oily if I don’t wash my hair everyday!
I also do not enjoy Vitamin C serums. I go back and forth in my head on how much of a role do they actually play in my anti aging skin health journey. This company is based in Canada ... excellent products that are suitable for sensitive skin . Take care everyone 🌹
Hi Dr. Dray You might want to give LUME another chance and a review, the product has changed dramatically as far as fragrances and the product absolutely works. I agree that initially when it first came on the market the smell was horrible. Even the unsented was awful. As I said before it has really changed. The peony Rose fragrance is nice, but I actually prefer the unscented. Give it another try!
Really appreciate this video, thank you very much for posting it as my 88-year-old father has a sudden atopic dermatitis. He is so miserable and he’s been to the dermatologist and it’s been biopsied and he has a prescribed ointment but so far nothing has really relieved it…. With that being said, this video gives me some insight on what might work to relieve some of the itch and what is overpriced and what is worth looking into!
I make our deodorant from equal parts coconut oil (92° melt point available online), baking soda, and arrowroot powder. I use a few drops of baby powder fragrance oil, and my husband gets bay rum. It works! But give it a few weeks for your old deodorant to go away and your body adjust. 1/3 c of each fills a standard container almost twice. Refrigerate leftovers, or just keep it in there. Adjust the ingredients if it's too soft.

This EverPure shampoo unfortunately DOES have MI. I just ordered it from Amazon and was very disappointed. I started a return. I use the conditioner and mask though and love the mask very much.
I for one LOVE the new Neutrogena water gel because it's FRAGRANCE FREE! I wouldn't use the old formula because I didn't like the way it smelled. It's expensive, though. I might as well just get the Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb for $38 cos I LOVE how that smells.
Sarna Lotion, (with menthol), was rhe Only thing I could find to help soothe the maddening itch covering my entire body when I had Jaundice from having a gall stone get stuck in a bile duct years ago! Seriously GREAT Stuff that I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
Thank you! I really appreciate your professional insights and explanations, and the information helps me to take care of myself better and make informed purchasing decisions.
I use that Neutrogena body oil as my first cleanse to remove my makeup. If people would stop demonizing perfectly acceptable preservatives like parabens, then companies would not have to use ones like the itchy MM's..
Walgreens is very expensive but when they have sales of buy one get one free it’s a very good deal and they have good sales and coupons throughout the week I save a lot
And on the other hand, in defense of drug stores .... they are likely to have stock on my most used products, where Walmart and Target are frequently out of stock. And 2, it's super convenient to pick things up while I'm getting my Rx filled.
Where I live (Maine) Walgreens is the closest drugstore, other than an even more expensive Mom & Pop drugstore. I usually order on line, directly from a brand, Yesstyle, Stylevana, ULTA or Amazon, much less expensive for me. Many blessings!💖💖💖
You mentioned the price of Neutrogena purescreen came down but the listings for the cheaper price are all sold out. Only available at a premium price now. 27.00
I've personally experienced arnica speeding the healing of bruises. Sounds like Target has way better prices. Sure do appreciate these informative shopping excursions.

I for one LOVE the new Neutrogena water gel because it's FRAGRANCE FREE! I wouldn't use the old formula because I didn't like the way it smelled. It's expensive, though. I might as well just get the Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb for $38 cos I LOVE how that smells.
it is amazing how similar in price sephora and drug store brands have become
The new Neutrogena Water Cream is a complete bust for me. The addition of lanolin means I can’t use it.
I like that Shea moisture shampoo to it’s nice and clarifying I have really dry scalp and this time of year my scalp is in shambles
Walgreens it’s not a place to shop for skin care products 😐
Did anybody noticed that some of the Wallgreen's products are made in South Korea???🤔
Both Walgreens & CVS are crazy expensive 🤷🏻♀️
Great info!!! Love these videos
Walgreens is very expensive but when they have sales of buy one get one free it’s a very good deal and they have good sales and coupons throughout the week I save a lot
Dr. Dray I really love your content thank you so much for your dedication to our skin.❤
And on the other hand, in defense of drug stores .... they are likely to have stock on my most used products, where Walmart and Target are frequently out of stock. And 2, it's super convenient to pick things up while I'm getting my Rx filled.
Our Target is way behind on getting anything new in there. It is a small town and is nice but really.
Tried lume for postpartum stink. Doesn't work at all.
Walgreens is overpriced as a rule unless they’re running a sale on something
You mentioned the price of Neutrogena purescreen came down but the listings for the cheaper price are all sold out. Only available at a premium price now. 27.00
Once I figured out even with coupons CVS and Walgreens price gauge more than regular pricing at target I gave up on them
And people are also using petroleum jelly around certain potted plants to keep slugs and snails at bay. So versatile!
Who knew?!
I've personally experienced arnica speeding the healing of bruises. Sounds like Target has way better prices. Sure do appreciate these informative shopping excursions.
Good morning Dr Dray ❤
Morning!
I order all my skin care from Amazon. Drug restores are too expensive.
