Hey I was thinking about building a surfboard for a while and saw your videos ended up making a 6’1” x 21 3/4” x 2 1/2” fish it is the fish b from blending curves trimmed down a bit to my liking did a single to double to concaved vee and 6oz on bottom and 2 6oz on top with a quad fin setup I have gotten so much enjoyment out of this and ended up naming my “brand” land lock surfboards because I am in Colorado and unfortunately have no oceans near me but hope to take it out this summer thanks for the inspiration much love keep doing what you are doing looking forward to some more boards
hey andrew. how much thicker does the fiberglass cloth make the board. say i had the blank at 3 inches thick, what would the thickness be at the end of the process. so i can compensate when shaping.
Hey Andrew, thanks for you videos, they inspired me to shape a board, I hope you read this and can help me with a problem I encountered. I started with a board of extruded poliestirene; all I found here in Spain. Got myself some poliester resin that cures with uv exposure and in doing a test I found out that some of the foam gets eaten away with the resin... In order not to lose the work done, I am thinking in primming the board before laminating... But I am concerned about further adhesion on the resin? What should I do? thanks beforehand and great job!!
