@@lm6827 Eh, I think it's for the best they remade the soundtrack. I do actually prefer a lot of the original versions of the songs, but at the same time I feel the new ones are all good in their own right.
I think it’s because the combat got more fast paced overtime. I played (and still own) the original yakuza (which i still adore because its so cheesy) where the combat was way more slow paced in my opinion (at least at the start). It’s probably why this version is a lot more slower paced than the kiwami version, where the combat is much faster. Maybe it’s cause of the framerate tho but I’m not sure.

official "HEY YOU" theme
didn't expect to see you here mr.error
The man himself
"Stupid old fuck"

I can't hear it
Man, that guitar riff got reused so many times in the series and I’m glad it did. This song is so rad.
Still love the Wicked tone of the og guitar
Thats Rad!
they brought this song back in infinite wealth as a street fight theme
I was so happy to hear this in infinite wealth 😀
I only played for an hour and a half and this song is already engraved in my brain as one of the best normal fighting themes ever.
That's Japanese Noise Music for you. This track seems to be the noisiest with breakbeat, punk and jazz blended in.
same
tbh this version is my favorite than the one we got in kiwami
I like the Kiwami version but it loses the funky sound that the song is meant to have.
They reallllly should've kept the original soundtrack! All of it fits the rough and tough aesthetic the game is going for in the first place so....
Logan Moore Frl bruh
@@lm6827 Well the new soundtrack is more mainstream. It's not terrible, but it's not the same thing

the og funk goes on: oh hey this theme is quite the banger
the kiwami funk goes on: god damn you majima
true
It was so great hearing this in Project X Zone, and it deepened my love affair with that series when Kiryu and Majima entered the picture!
Just started playing Yakuza Kiwame, and i never knew how much i would love the original PS2 track as much as I do.
I love the original version , i wonder why did the series ost change so much . Maybe it lost its original composer?
Yakuza 5 had a different composer.
Nah it's the same dude
The guy who did this did Pledge of Demon and more. He’s been around for the whole series except two games: Dead Souls and Black Panther 2
yeah i agree. kiwami lost its punk feeling and especially didnt feel that punk feeling in 0 where kiryu was developing to the dragon of dojima

hearing this after playing kiwami is so cool somehow... this is like so raw and amazing in its own way
“You know what none of this” my Mama Luigi’s line
Indeed.
it’s not better it’s not worse, it’s different.
finally, someone says the RIGHT take
Would love to see a mod to replace the soundtrack in kiwami with the original
i think there already is one
why would u do that when kiwami is better

Love this theme. Time to fight more Yakuza!
When the thinnest guy in Kamorucho picka a fight with someone whos three heads taller and weights x3 more then him, picks a fight
It all started here and it came to a end here... ichiban will never have this
Like Snowy said. Brawler style is the Remade song and Dragon is the OG. Meanwhile Rush: BREAKING DA LAW!
Yakuza the original had the best ost of all the series
I dunno about that one chief

"Hey you!"
My Reptile listened to this and now it turned into a Dragon
Damn that hurts :p

"Stupid old fuck" - I love this quote :D
this really gives me takken 3 vibes
im looking for debolah theme high quality, preferably the kiwami version. searched youtube but only the muddy low quality one available

You wanna get in my face?
Classic OST Mod for K1
i know kiwami is an huge improvement but i prefer the original version of this song
Play at 1.1x speed to make it sound closer to the Kiwami version.
yes but why
So much better than the Kiwami trash theme, goddamn
You dont have to outright call the kiwami version trash
@Dojima No Ryu4 Right? For me, I just see it as more cinematic than the original.
