I don't really understand Daigo's situation here. The other pairs had pretty good reasons to beat each other up. Meanwhile, Kiryu decided to fight Daigo just because he was there (alone, for some reason)?
I love how the other three fights are all dramatic and stuff, and Saejima and Kido are just like: "Bro, its a honor, but imma kick you in the nuts." "Bro, its my honor but imma kick you in the nuts." Brings a whole new meaning to balls out.
I mean, it's fitting. Saejima and Kido is a teacher student situation. Testing to see if he's actually ready to reach the top. Embracing the ideology that he learnt.
Saejima is the reason why Kido is here in the first place, he isn't even mad about it, Kido respects the hell out of Saejima, this is a test for him, and his teacher is the last obstacle
Idk, but I'm pretty sure when I say that yakuza kiwami 1's "Let's end this." moment is magical and probably a great contender for yakuza 4's final battle intros, maybe the Mine fight intro in yakuza 3 too? I'd say that's also a very cool one, specially with whatever the fuck Mine and Kiryu tried to do mid-air, so cool
