Overall the perfect phone or very close to it, close as you can get. What matters in a phone it kills it. Price, Screen, chip performance, smoothness, Battery, charging and the camera is actually good and better after the update.

Phone work flawlessly and just like you I'm waiting for all these updates I see in other countries have WOW there's a launcher update so that's supposed to fix the icon pack app problem or these icons pack need update to match the oneplus system launcher
The OnePlus 12 has turned into my daily driver. I was using a Pixel 8 pro and I just got sick of the bad battery life and slow charging. I prefer the camera and the software on the pixel, but everything else is better and the OnePlus. Like Josh said this phone has incredible battery life. Combine that with 80 watt fast charging and it is hard for any other phone to compete.

The scratch resistance happens to all new phones because they've made the glass softer in a way so it will get scratches but when you drop your phone it won't shatter so this is not just a OnePlus issue this is the trend with glass on new phones. So just leave the screen protector that was on the phone or buy a new one.

those scratches says how rough u were handling ur phone, i have a oneplus 7 pro 3.5 years old and 3 minths old oneplus 12 , not a single deep scratches yet cause i take care of it i wont put it with keys on my pocket and wont use on a dirty hand and have accidentally droped it few times but no scratches till now, but yeah love the phone so good particularly the battery i almost forget about it, once in 2 days i charge it 7 to 8 hrs screen on time for 2 days pretty good even on standby for 2 days
I'm glad you're experience has been great👍 And no I'm actually not that rough with it. When it's in my pocket there is nothing else in my pocket with it. It's just my luck I guess ..

I'm pretty sure it's not capped at 80 watts in the US. I bought the 100w charger from OnePlus and when i plug it in the phone says supervooc 100w.
Hmm.. you got lucky then. Even oneplus themselves told me it's 80w in US.
@@Josh_Quinonez apparently the phone itself always supports 100W - US just gets 80W chargers due to 120V in the socket, whereas in EU we use 240V
Device performance is fantastic. I have Galaxy 23FE, Pixel 7 Pro, Apple 15 Plus and This one. The camera outperforms all three by a huge margin. The photo edit tools they have upgraded provide more than what a user need. However curved screen protectors do not work well with this device. Pixel 7 pro is very fast in fingerprint reader with curved glass, but this device is struggling. However, face recognition is fantastic and always forget the fingerprint reader.

I put a tempered screen protector on my OnePlus 12 and it's great,even better than the pre installed one.
Great Review on this OP12 can you possibly explain and make a video on RAM expansion not really sure on benefits of on or off settings 4gb 8gb and 12gb. I also scratched the screen unknowingly 😅
No need to enable RAM expansion. 12GB will be enough for a long while

I have never used the SV charger. I get more than enough battery life out of my OP and slow charging over night has me at 100% long before I get up for work.

I have scratches on nearly every OP and none on my iPhones.
Even my iPhone 7 has no scratches but my OP12 does, and like he says. It from pocket ware.
It doesn't effect my use. And yes I love the 12. Love all my OP phones.
The best for me is OP still uses a sim tray. I was a apple fan until they took the sim tray from the US.
I won't own a phone that doesn't have a sim tray.

This much scratches on a gorilla glass victus😮, then why that kind of a protection??
The newer glass they've come out with is less resistance to scratches but it won't crack as easy if you drop your phone so just put a screen protector on it it's good to go.

Picked up the OnePlus 12 a month ago and now is not working.. i was watching RUclips video when screen turns black and stop work. i tried reboot, shot down and factory restore options but still not working. My mom and wife have the OnePlus Nord and they had a similar issue 2 weeks ago, but their phones worked after charging and mine didn't. I am very upset with OnePlus. :(
That is unfortunate. Sorry to hear that. You might have a defective unit. I would get it replaced through warranty

Not me
It's usually normal for the battery to drain a little faster after an update. When the phone adapts to the update the battery will go back to draining as normal.
@@thecrowpit24 Most of the companies nowadays tricking you for the first time when you buy a new phone, you'll get a good battery life.
developers can do that, you see when you fully charge oneplus 12 up to 100%. it takes more than an hour to 99%. but after that it will drain normally.
they're fooling us...
