Los Angeles Wheelmen Grand Tour 2024

This year's double century bicycle ride was predicted to be a scorcher with temperatures as high as 93F at lunch at 115 miles. I started early and rode hard to lunch arriving at 9am. It was only 70F so that worked out well.
The rest of the ride is downhill or at the beach so I never had an issue with the heat. But I got to most of the controls before they opened so I was self-supporting. I almost got it right.
I also had fun with a new drone. It's the HoverAir X1 and it's perfect for recording bike rides.
