    This is beautiful. I would love to know the dimensions of the collet setting. How wide is your edge, how deep is the setting? Also what is the fantastic music?

    Hello sir what is the ball burr size? and does the punch you are using is flat or pointed? and what is the graver at last used for bright cutting and what are the angles that you sharpened the graver?

    • @thediamondsetter6158
      @thediamondsetter6158  5 лет назад

      Hey ! That depends on the size of the stone and girdle thickness. This one was a 4mm stone an i used a 0.6mm carbide round bur :)

    • @thediamondsetter6158
      @thediamondsetter6158  5 лет назад +3

      Amber Unterreiner ! I will make a video for you! Bit is really nothing special. Look at the graver on slow-mo, 2 Facets like a prong splitter and then upgrind the material behind the tip.

    Absolutely incredible. 🤯 Are you using a hammer handpiece to set?

    • @thediamondsetter6158
      @thediamondsetter6158  5 лет назад

      Hey! I use Gravermax for doing this kind of jobs. But especially this kind of settign you can do with hammer as well. If you set "soft" stones i recommend the GraverMax or a similiar tool, because with it you can fine tune the impact strength. Also with burnish or flipsy settings :)

    • @diannagendron
      @diannagendron 5 лет назад

      THE DIAMOND SETTER yeah I figured it was with a graver setup, just amazed to see the control you have with impact etc using it, it’s so fluid in the vid that I’m not even seeing the point move. I’m working with a foredom H-15, who knows, maybe one day I’ll be at a level where I can up my game a bit! Have saved your videos, they are a thing of beauty! :)

    was the original geometry 3d printed before casting? (it looks like it was)

    • @thediamondsetter6158

      for sure ! - Palladium-Whitegold - customer wanted it without rhodium plating. No soldering joints and so on. Printed with an solus, casted with an indutherm MC 15+ - all the best !

    • @thediamondsetter6158
