Ofcourse you can, a real diamond setter can set stones without any air assisted gravers. We all started with manual gravers and until today most stone setters are still using manual gravers.
This was great! Thanks for taking the time and sharing this 👍. What angle graver are you using for your bright cutting? 70? I tried a narrow geometry once but always struggled and use an onglette instead. But I love the crisp look of this setting you created. Thanks again!
This is not basic technique. If you have minimum skills in stone settings you can get what he’s doing without no need for an explanation, if not it means this video is for you to enjoy, not to learn 😆
Все на высшем уровне, всё ясно и понятно. Спасибо Юра
What is the advantage for you to drill every second hole first and then go back for the middle hole?
more even spacing
awesome - happy this video is back on YT.
This really is fantastic! thanks for showing the process in such a detailed way. Do you think this could be completed with manual gravers?
you are welcome. i cant tell you anything about doing it by hand. never did it.

What brand of the drill bit you used?
Hi Jessie. im using my own brand. watch this video: ruclips.net/video/Dc-aH2G1oiI/видео.html
How do you sharpen the face of the triangular graver ? It is not flat . It's concave . Do you find it more useful this way ?
i use diamond wheels (blue one). it cuts a little better this way
And where can I buy them ? So far I use the yellow rubberized diamond wheels from Rio Grande but they are to thin to use on the face of a graver .
@@diasetter By the way , you do an amazing job. 🙂🙂🙂
Thank you Andrew
