Thanks again for showing your amazing work Jura. I'm fascinated to know how you work out the exact spacing of the dividers when marking out? After going around the whole diameter your last mark meets the first perfectly, how do you do it? Incredible..
diasetter I see. I don't seem to ever get lucky! I always end up with half a stone size left over after working around the circumference then have to keep using trial and error until they meet.
G Hughes You could divide exact the number of stones by using this formula: Diameter x 3.14 = length / size of stone you want to set...Ex: the circle = 25mm * 3.14 = 78.49mm / 1.3 (size of stone) = 60 stones. Always you need to find the lengh then divide the size of stone... hope it help
Calvin Le Thanks Calvin, I'll give that a try. In your calculation do you allow for any space between the finished set stones or the fact the the stones become slightly closer as they are set below the surface of a curve?
@@diasetter Thanks! I'd considered giving that a go but hadn't got round to it. Ill definitely pick some up. Keep up the great work, these videos are very enjoyable.
