Things I learned: 1) You can cyloop 2) You can double cyloop 3) You can dodge mouth laser 4) You can parry back lasers. Holy shit this fight was more in depth than I thought.
Man, they need to make Super Sonic fights like this from now on. It's far too criminal to make him just boost into a weak spot every now and then, they need to be actual action moments.
I didn't finish the game yet, but maybe the lack of "boost to weak spot" is because Eggman was not the boss x) Also I didn't expect the game to have several Super Sonic fights instead of being the final boss like in previous games
I don't know if you planned it, but the music shouting " 'Cos I am undefeatable" while Super Sonic is casually parrying away and countering the titan's attack was some wonderful timing.
i did a lot of tries, and when i say a lot, i really meant it xD took me like 30-40 tries in order to do all of the boss and sonic mechanics on a single run, since some of them depend on the boss hp, it was pretty hard to keep the fight flowing without killing him quickly, also, trying to parry the lasers from his back is VERY difficult and inconsistent, so even if i didnt plan it, i did planed most of the stuff in this video (except the 2nd hit, my idea was to take only one hit just to show sonics animation, but giganto caught me off guard at the 2nd phase xD)
yep, i discovered both things by looking at some video reactions of ppl doing it by mistake XD however the part when u send him to the ground is a bit tricky as u have to do it without damaging him to much or else he will rise up instantly

I think that from a gameplay standpoint, this is the best Titan boss. You have a ton of freedom in how to approach the fight and are rewarded for experimenting. I also like how the grand slam animation doesn't break up the pacing of the fight like it does with Knight and Wyvern. It's quick, hits hard, looks awesome, and puts you right back into the fight. The other bosses might have better spectacle, but they're a lot more rigid in their design. I hope we get more Sonic bosses like this, that encourage the player to make creative use of Sonic's entire moveset.
Knight boss is better for gameplay imo, mainly because it introduces the shield mechanic, making the gameplay more engaging and a little more complicated than the first two. Plus, I think Giganto has a lil too more jank than the other two(probably because he's the biggest)
@@Prime_Legend Reducing the gameplay down to a shield mechanic is'nt exactly creative nor more complicated. It is a harder fight cos it limits you but in that process you don't get as much creative freedom as the other two.
@@Prime_Legend Do tell cos' I keep getting trapped in the second half shield aiming thing that gets forced upon you. You have to do it once so that normal battle resumes AFAIK.
I guess the big difference is that Super Sonic's differences from regular Sonic is far more distinguishable than how Super Saiyan differs from a regular Saiyan beyond the golden hair and increased strength. Sonic Frontiers makes you FEEL like a Super Saiyan in that sense
Bro, if they doing Super Sonic this much justice, just imagine when we eventually get a game where Shadow is playable and it has a Super Shadow boss fight. It'll be the most hype moment in Sonic history. Can you even begin to imagine how Super Shadow will be fighting? Sheeeeeeeesh...

I've seen two or three of the boss fight montages and it's just the parrying with that grand slam, most of the time none of them ever cycloop the bosses.
This put Super Sonic on the Pinnacle he deserves! Giganto being introduced just to kick Sonic's butt at first, made this moment even better! I loved it!

im playing with a switch controller so the input is Y then X (attack then X) keep in mind that u need to have the quick cyloop skill and a full blue bar (it is the one that appears below the combo gauge, u use half of that bar with each cyloop)

justo cuando dispare el laser tienes que espamear L y R alternando entre uno y el otro (L > R > L > R ..) bien rapido y asi lo esquivas xD

its a nice trick, u have to spam L and R very fast at the moment the boss fires the laser
