Massive Phasmophobia Update Next Week!

The Phasmophobia developers have just announced that the next major update will be dropping next week, Tuesday June 25th, 2024! Thanks to the previous Dev Previews and the Q&A that took place on the stream of one of the game's developers, we have a really good idea of what new content will be included in this upcoming update.
In this video I take a deep dive into all aspects of this new update and some of the future updates to come. With a new map, equipment balancing, progression adjustments, and the preparation of the game's long awaited release to consoles, there is a lot to go over!

Item tiers killed the game. Their over complicated ui didnt help either. Been waiting for Horror 2.0 for 2 years now and still waiting… the most fun maps are the small ones but they keep on making them bigger and bigger. They had a solid game but they dont have a clue what theyre doing with it. The game used to have an identity and now it tries to be everything at the same time. Idk man I’m not hyped personally
I actually really enjoy the item tiers, the game feels really stale to me when I use the same equipment over and over. I know a lot of the community shares your opinion though, so I can see both sides. I completely agree though, they should keep putting out smaller maps, most players seem to enjoy those the most. Horror 2.0 will be the very last update they do when they take the game out of early access, I cannot wait for better jumpscares!
i'm not able to watch the full video but are they releasing anymore ghosts, they're also coming out with more jump scares??
They will be remastering all of their current jumpscare mechanics and adding new horror mechanics in their "Horror 2.0" update they have teased. No firm ETA on that update but it is planned. New Ghosts were also mentioned but not in the very near future.
