This is what you need to know. You must be the right candidate for a PDO thread lift. That means minor not major sagging. If you have major sagging then you need to opt for a traditional facelift. A thread lift works for people like me who need a tweak and I can notice it but no one else can. I wanted my cheeks lifted because my face was a bit bottom heavy. Now the symmetry is perfect. It’s a heart shape. Which is the ideal youthful shape. So if somebody misleads you to believe it’s a miracle cure and that it replaces a medical facelift then they are being irresponsible. And they are lying. It’s a lift instead of a fill like fillers. Although they do similar things. So make sure you have the right expectations from the start. It works only if you’re the right candidate. Older women who have major sagging will see results but it will take a lot of threads. But it’s semi permanent and will have to be repeated yearly. Again it’s not the same as a facelift. But the difference is if you’re afraid of going under anesthesia this is a good alternative as long as you’re realistic about the results and the monetary investment to upkeep it.
This doctor is so calming and so caring! She worries about how the person is doing instead of hurrying up to get done! I wish there was more of her! Too bad she's so far from me or I'd book today!
It is. Collagen takes between 3-5 months to produce and the threads will continue the collagen generation until they're fully dissolved in 2 years. We just saw this patient the other day. She looks amazing. We'll try to get new after photos to show.
I had POD threads done in Alberton R6000 later promises of pics to show improvement but nada.....not even a slight improvement and no pics or follow up improvement consultations made as promised. So now I am done it was my first and last procedure done by a dentist, I now dont even want to bother with Botox.
actually is a mild discomfort, and I had the lower part done for less than $500 and full face is $1000 with a board certified. plastic surgeon in Boca Raton FL
I have a question I had co2 9 weeks ago and have what looks like festoon edema on one cheek. If I ever so slightly tug the skin upward the edema seems to disappear a bit. Do you suggest to do thread lift ? How would you handle this fluid looking lump? I’m tired of rubbing and doing lymph draining. It’s exhausting to make it disappear for a short period of turn throughout the day. Thanks in advance and I’m 60 for reference
Hello: I wanted to see if you know about thread extrusion. It's on top of my eyebrow (left side) from the MINT pdo thread but this was done in Dec 2020. There was always a little extrusion but today i noticed it spread and puffy. Should I be concerned? I am worried? But it's over 3 years, shouldn't it dissolved? Thank You
I looked VERY carefully and analytically at the before/after photos, and just like so many other examples of thread lifts, the results are either non-existent, or worse. They really DO NOT do what they are promoted as doing. The only positive thing I can say is that the photos were honest and didn't use BS make-up and lighting tricks.
This patient gets threads for preventative aging, though they do provide a subtle immediate lift that gets more pronounced as she generates collagen to reposition her face-- this happens in a 3-5 month period depending on how quickly the patient's body produces new tissue. To your point about the before and afters (and thank you!) the only retouching we do to our photos is to try to match the lighting (sometimes the patient is in a different location and not in our photo room so the light can be more yellow), we will also remove identifying marks such as tattoos or birthmarks upon the patient's request. Here are just a few examples of PDO thread before and afters that are more pronounced than the patient in the video. www.rejuvenationmdmedspa.com/gallery/pdo-threads/
I had my lower part of face threaded. I get upper part done at end of october. I t does make a difference. Done by nicki nurse nicki now located in stoney creek ontario. Excellant job. I trust her. Try her. You wo t be disappointed. Shirley marie tolson. Hamilton Ontario canada
It definitely looks worse than it feels! I have had a few thread lifts and I have the treating physician give me a dental block in addition to the injectable lidocaine. When the thread is inserted it is a funny feeling, it's not 100% comfortable but it's also not painful like laser resurfacing. After the procedure, you'll feel a little sore, but it goes away in about a week. At most you may want to take some Tylenol. Make sure to see a reputable provider, so your treatment is safe and effective and you love the results!
It was most painful thing I have ever experienced....the last pull up over the left ear. Lots of loose skin. I had PTSD for a long time...hair loss puffy eyes.
It takes 3-4 months for the body to make it's own collagen and elastin. Give it time, if the provider used the right threads you should see lift and tightening. Our patients can immediately see it. Also, you can ask your provider for nitrous to help minimize the discomfort.
I see the difference, but it isn't big. It is more noticeable in the front view. The after looks a little uncanny but I suspect that it is the result of poor photography skills, should have used a zoom lens from 6'.
The before/after look the same to me after 2 weeks. I'd love to see an update after 3 months!!
Agree i see no difference at all
Could you please point to the areas on her face that have improved? Truthfully i see no difference
I just had this procedure done today and it makes a big difference! It did for me and it will just keep getting better over time!
Lmao. It doesn’t last no more than a year.
@@TheeMan101 so what? I’ll just keep getting it done year after year! No sweat!
@@PrincessPatricia2013 Ofcourse you will darling. You’re insecure. 🤍
@@TheeMan101 I don’t want to look old. Nothing wrong with that.
@@TheeMan101 so what if she's insecure?? That's her prerogative bozo🙄

Right now Groupon has some amazing deals on this - which is why I am here. Your comment is invaluable information. Thank you
I didn't know Groupon did that kind of stuff. But I don't know much about Groupon period. Groupon will probably be my next RUclips binge. Lol
How much did you pay for it . I was told $750 for each side containing 3 threads. Does that sound Reasonable.
@@raycray9404 I paid $600 for both sides. I’m in Canada and it was a special price for me.

Hmm cant see any difference here .. is it delayed results?

Yikes !
I do see a difference. Besides, I believe it’s supposed to work more over some time.

Unfortunately I don't really see a difference from the before and after sorry :(
Terrible Model!
Why I don't see any difference?
"if your boobs are giggling your face is giggling!' hahaha
Please show the full results at 3-4 months!!
I quite honestly can't see a difference.
I’d love this doctor!
Thank you! 😍
I see a difference. You can see it in the cheeks. Also, it only gets better over time from what the experts say. It's as collagen builds over time.

I can definitely see a difference in her smile lines and there's a slight lift in her cheeks.
I would be so mad if i spent the money and pain of doing this and i looked exactly the same in 2 weeks 😢

Yes, it should have dissolved. Schedule with the provider who performed the lift ASAP to make sure there is no infection.

What is that tube in the lips doing?
It's Pro-Nox (nitrous), which is helping to relax our patient and minimize any pain.

I thought it was also for the neck.
We absolutely use PDO threads for the neck. We can use them anywhere on the body that needs lifting!
