Alamat is good group as well. What I love about them is they are a group with members coming from different provinces and tribes in the Philippines. They also incorporate their own dialects in their songs. This is definitely a new era for Filipino music and Im so proud ❤

It's crazy how you relate them to a TREE when their trilogy album is just about that. Their growth as artist just like a tree (or well, their "artis-tree" hehe). The 1st album in the trilogy is called "Pagsibol" or sprouting in english. This included their most famous song in the Philippines "Mapa" then next album is "Pagtatag" or strengthening/establishing with their most famous song outside the Philippines "Gento". Alab Era A’tin here! 👋🏼 I fell in love with Tilaluha the first time I listened to it. They basically have only 5 songs when I started listening to them. But their song Hanggang sa Huli took my breath away. It wasn’t released yet when I first heard it. I only saw their performance of it during that infamous presscon. You're right about the tree. When you say that they are like a blossoming tree. If you dig deep in their albums (It's trilogy by the way) It's about theor journey. The first one is Pagsibol means blossoming. The second one is Pagtatag means strengthening. The third one is Simula at Wakas which will be their comeback. Their journey was symbolized by a tree showned at their Pagtatag finale concert.

Thanks for the RV. You're right, they're evolution as an artist is noticeable through their early tracks. The first 3 songs in this RV are from their first album "Get in the zone," where they debuted and was still under original company. Though they were involved with the production and songwriting of the songs, you can still notice the Korean influence on those songs. The SLMT song was from their next EP "Pagsibol", ( means Sprouting/growth). It includes the songs Mapa, What?, Bazinga, Mana. They started to have more creative freedom on that album that's why it sounds different from their early stuff. The recent EP, "Pagtatag" (means strengthening). It includes tracks like Gento, I want you, Crimzone, Ilaw etc. They produce and wrote the songs (mostly Pablo) by themselves and this is where they are already establishing their own company so they have 100% creative freedom and are more experimental on their songs. What I love about them is they are not afraid to break the norms and create tracks with new and old sounds but still bringing their own sound utilizing their vocals, rapping and techniques they are known for.

You're right about the tree. When you say that they are like a blossoming tree. If you dig deep in their albums (It's trilogy by the way) It's about theor journey. The first one is Pagsibol means blossoming. The second one is Pagtatag means strengthening. The third one is Simula at Wakas which will be their comeback. Their journey was symbolized by a tree showned at their Pagtatag finale concert.

Personally, I thought the Tilaluha mv did not do justice to the boys - and I guess, that's why the genpubs' reception to it was 'lukewarm' too.
But, I recommend for you to please check-out their Tilaluha performance in 2021 Round Festival and notice how their voices even become more matured. Imagine, they released Tilaluha in 2018, then performed it live with small tweaks by 2021. Amazing growth and maturity.

Thanks for the RV. You're right, they're evolution as an artist is noticeable through their early tracks. The first 3 songs in this RV are from their first album "Get in the zone," where they debuted and was still under original company. Though they were involved with the production and songwriting of the songs, you can still notice the Korean influence on those songs. The SLMT song was from their next EP "Pagsibol", ( means Sprouting/growth). It includes the songs Mapa, What?, Bazinga, Mana. They started to have more creative freedom on that album that's why it sounds different from their early stuff. The recent EP, "Pagtatag" (means strengthening). It includes tracks like Gento, I want you, Crimzone, Ilaw etc. They produce and wrote the songs (mostly Pablo) by themselves and this is where they are already establishing their own company so they have 100% creative freedom and are more experimental on their songs. What I love about them is they are not afraid to break the norms and create tracks with new and old sounds but still bringing their own sound utilizing their vocals, rapping and techniques they are known for.

For the MV SLMT I believe their Christmas Special part 1 is when they filmed the video. You should check out their show breaks and specials. I believe they are all subbed. The shows are pretty funny and helps you get to know Mahalima better.
