I love BTS and this is not to compare the two. A lot of KPOP fans had said that BTS had 3 Rappers, 3 main Dancers and 4 Singers when they perform. SB19 has 5 Rappers, 5 Dancers and 5 Singers. It is just their season to reap what they had toiled for years of sacrifices and practice and not giving up on their dreams to become this good.

Also the vocal lessons really helped both Josh and Justin. You can hear the difference. Justin admitted he didn't have much of a singing voice but now look at him. So much confidence. You got KEN on point. He's an extreme introvert and very conscious of people looking at him. When he's in public but not on stage, he's almost totally covered. He's probably one person who enjoyed the pandemic in the sense that people kept their distance and he always had mask on. BUT when he's with his friends or people he's familiar with, he can be mischievous too.

Ken , the main dancer, also writes his own songs and produces ( named Felip as a solo artist). Pablo and Ken have solo careers. Josh , the lead rapper, is also finance savvy. Justin, the youngest, is also the creative director of their MVs. He graduated cum laude in Multi Media Arts. Stell, the heavenly voice, is also a choreographer. You guys hit the nail on the head with Boys 2 Men. While they're all really good in their own right, Ken really elevates the SB19 sound with his low tones. While he doesn't hit it as low as Michael used to on Boys 2 Men, it has the same effect and the blend is just so good to listen too. Honestly I'd love to listen to them do some covers of Boys 2 Men and bring in their own flair too...

Ken is a natural introvert and very shy. When they were just starting out, he seldom smiled and some haters started hating on him. They thought he was arrogant. He is just now starting to come out of his shell becoming more confident as they achieved success after success. You should check out his solo projects like Palayo and Bulan. He is a star.
In every of their performance you came to a point that you realize they are really one of a kind boygroup. They're deep, they don't just sing, hence they carried you throughout their song, you really feel the song. And for me that is the real singers when their song get the deepest of your soul. At first, I heard that Ken (the deep voice) does not know that his voice is insanely good, he thought that he was not good enough, thinking that he needed to be in higher note. But Pablo knows better, so , he let him know about how unique his voice is and encouraged Ken that is not the case. He made them realized that their voices are unique and complementing the dynamo of their group.

The way they explain SB19 harmonies is what made me stan this group. The blending of these 5 boys vocals sounds so heavenly. Their ballad songs reminds me so much of the 90s R&B groups BoysIIMen and All4One. Me being such an R&B fan are so thankful that SB19 exists. Must be why I became a Ken bias, his vocals is so rich. His low notes and falsettos are perfect for R&B.

By far the best Tilaluha reactors of all time!!!I cant count anymore how many times Ive repeated this. And over and over, it gives me chill. I think that this is also their best vocal arrangement of Tilaluha aside from their TM performance. Super ❤ their harmonies😊
It's always nice to watch reactors who really knows what their talking about. and that's the great thing about SB19, their harmony. First time I heard their ballad I also said there's a lot of Boys to Men going on in that harmony. While others only see their tight dance routine and powerful vocal solos, me, Im in it for the harmony. And I love or should I say Fiipinos love Boys to Men, that's why every concert they have in the Philippines always get sold out.
Starting at the 8:40 mark of this video you can hear the individual sounds that they make on this harmony. This is what amazes me with this video of the round festival because we are hearing their positions on the harmony very, very clearly.

Ken's Voice is so low bassy rich velvety, a quality that is usually get recognized by musically inclined people. Meanwhile in the Philippines I must say, Ken's voice doesn't get recognized that much because Filipnos are used to Singers that has wide voice range and can hit high notes, you are only a good singer if you can hit high notes. What I like about Ken is that he doesn't even know to himself how rare his voice is. I like this particular performance because of the audio quality, you can really hear not only Ken's voice but as well as Justin's and Josh's.
Ken had a great high pitched voice when he was a kid but his voice pitch changed dramatically to low pitched voice after puberty hit him hard but still you can hear the quality of his deep voice. very rich deep tone.

Ken is the youngest and the overtly shy guy.He is from Mindanao ,Southern , Philippines while the rest of the group are from Manila. His entry into SB19 is a story in itself.
I just started following SB19 after watching your reaction a few days ago. Going backwards, I’m now learning their story and, as a Filipino expat, I have the advantage of understanding their interviews in Tagalog. The first interview I saw was of Felip, by Dougbrock ( 2+hrs!) these may answer some of your questions: Felip aka Ken is painfully shy offstage. His family & friends know that he can’t order from a Fastfood restaurant-Ken said there are “ too many questions.” On stage he closes off the present and goes into another world and creates an onstage persona. His grandfather and father were pastors. He grew up listening to his musical uncle in church. As a young boy, he sang but when he lost his high range upon puberty, he lost confidence, stopped singing and eventually found dance. It was in this milieu that he met Josh. Eventually, friends encouraged him to develop his low register.
At the moment i heard this song and up to know im already in love with them ,,SB19 is really amazing, mabuhay mahalima and thanks for supporting them,,hoping that more success for their carrer ❤

Ken is a natural introvert and very shy. When they were just starting out, he seldom smiled and some haters started hating on him. They thought he was arrogant. He is just now starting to come out of his shell becoming more confident as they achieved success after success. You should check out his solo projects like Palayo and Bulan. He is a star.
In every of their performance you came to a point that you realize they are really one of a kind boygroup. They're deep, they don't just sing, hence they carried you throughout their song, you really feel the song. And for me that is the real singers when their song get the deepest of your soul. Amazing artist SB19!!!!

At first, I heard that Ken (the deep voice) does not know that his voice is insanely good, he thought that he was not good enough, thinking that he needed to be in higher note. But Pablo knows better, so , he let him know about how unique his voice is and encouraged Ken that is not the case. He made them realized that their voices are unique and complementing the dynamo of their group.

Ken did the intro, he is also the back vocals doing falsetto, low and very low harmonies.. his voice is really good. He has a solo under his first name Felip.

The way they explain SB19 harmonies is what made me stan this group. The blending of these 5 boys vocals sounds so heavenly. Their ballad songs reminds me so much of the 90s R&B groups BoysIIMen and All4One. Me being such an R&B fan are so thankful that SB19 exists.
Must be why I became a Ken bias, his vocals is so rich. His low notes and falsettos are perfect for R&B.

By far the best Tilaluha reactors of all time!!!I cant count anymore how many times Ive repeated this. And over and over, it gives me chill. I think that this is also their best vocal arrangement of Tilaluha aside from their TM performance. Super ❤ their harmonies😊

It's always nice to watch reactors who really knows what their talking about. and that's the great thing about SB19, their harmony. First time I heard their ballad I also said there's a lot of Boys to Men going on in that harmony. While others only see their tight dance routine and powerful vocal solos, me, Im in it for the harmony. And I love or should I say Fiipinos love Boys to Men, that's why every concert they have in the Philippines always get sold out.
Starting at the 8:40 mark of this video you can hear the individual sounds that they make on this harmony. This is what amazes me with this video of the round festival because we are hearing their positions on the harmony very, very clearly.

Ken's Voice is so low bassy rich velvety, a quality that is usually get recognized by musically inclined people. Meanwhile in the Philippines I must say, Ken's voice doesn't get recognized that much because Filipnos are used to Singers that has wide voice range and can hit high notes, you are only a good singer if you can hit high notes. What I like about Ken is that he doesn't even know to himself how rare his voice is. I like this particular performance because of the audio quality, you can really hear not only Ken's voice but as well as Justin's and Josh's.
Ken had a great high pitched voice when he was a kid but his voice pitch changed dramatically to low pitched voice after puberty hit him hard but still you can hear the quality of his deep voice. very rich deep tone.
I know SB19 for almost 2yrs.but don't really put much attention to them,but for 3months im getting crazy.Watching n hearing all their songs way back.Not yet too late for me..Thanks guys for the best reaction.

I just started following SB19 after watching your reaction a few days ago. Going backwards, I’m now learning their story and, as a Filipino expat, I have the advantage of understanding their interviews in Tagalog.
The first interview I saw was of Felip, by Dougbrock ( 2+hrs!) these may answer some of your questions:
Felip aka Ken is painfully shy offstage. His family & friends know that he can’t order from a Fastfood restaurant-Ken said there are “ too many questions.” On stage he closes off the present and goes into another world and creates an onstage persona.
His grandfather and father were pastors. He grew up listening to his musical uncle in church.
As a young boy, he sang but when he lost his high range upon puberty, he lost confidence, stopped singing and eventually found dance. It was in this milieu that he met Josh. Eventually, friends encouraged him to develop his low register.
At the moment i heard this song and up to know im already in love with them ,,SB19 is really amazing, mabuhay mahalima and thanks for supporting them,,hoping that more success for their carrer ❤
