@@ankit3936 no some customers are loyal to taste and quality no matter what like I am. I am from Dadar west senapati bapat Marg. I know my food and places. Manju vada is now 2 small vadas for 50 rs. And they shamelessly say this is now the new size. So the customers also deserted them for good.

Keep bringing more videos from such amazing eateries from these neighborhoods. You guys make me feel nostalgic everytime a video from Dadar or Matunga is posted.

I like Maharashtrian breakfast but when it comes to healthy breakfast then I prefer South Indian food. As you can see Maharashtrian breakfast whether it is batatavada, sabudana khuchdi or Kotambir vadi all are fried but coming to South Indian breakfast they are mostly steamed and fermented which is healthy.
I think Kunal Sir also enjoyed South Indian breakfast than Maharashtrian breakfast 😃

Dont know why, but Sri krishna vada was always referred to as "Manju Wada" at my home. When I was a kid, these two bomb size wada's were priced at 3/- per plate. Served in newspaper with fried green chillies, which had a lot of salt on them.
For me, Manju Wada stands on the topmost list ❤❤ though I am also an ardent fan of South Indian breakfast!

But, before tuitions I used to pick up 6/7 batatawadas from Shree Krishna and give them to my co students and teacher too 😁 and to aji like lady who gave her house room for tuitions.

both cuisines are equally good and delicious. its just ones preference. either a high carb fried breakfast or a balance of carbs and protein. The very fact that just breakfast in India has so many options across different regions that a lifetime is not enough to sample everything. unlike western countries where it is just the staple bread with some kind of eggs and coffee or some cereal. We are blessed to be in a country like India. No other country can come close to what we have for food.

I love Maharashrtian food like kothambir vadi batata vada etc from my Thane days between 1981-84. But over the period of time, +45, it became highly gastric. Therefore, I prefer steamed food, & strictly no besan. Idlies preferred

The South Indian breakfast spread looks so delicious! We live in Canada and sorely miss hot idli and vada breakfast.

I leave in USA. Whenever visiting Mumbai at my parents place, I always ask my dad to get ShriKrishna vada. India trip without eating this Vada is not worth 😊
