I remember Dennis telling his dad, Uncle Ernie, saying , John Coltrane was crazy.
I offered wondered but Dennis had only said, his dad said without any explanation that John was crazy but I only started to believe John was ahead of his generation. And if any one was crazy, it was those who did not follow jazz or understand him forward.
