    I am looking to make a regular size tie not a skinny one. I purchased your pattern but it is only for a skinny one. Do you have a wider pattern?

    I finally understand the pieces and how to construct the tie, and the required hand stitching. This tutorial was helpful and clear. You did a great job.

    Hi,
    I am a professional dressmaker and designer and it's kind of weird you don't use ironing board or some material when you are ironing. Anyway I like your tutorial. :)

    Excellent video!! Everyone else who I've seen do similar videos gloss over the hand stitching toward the end. You didn't and it makes your video the best I've seen. The detail you gave on the lining at the point was also a cut above the rest. Very complete and very professional video. Thanks.

    thank you so much. this was a good video. I would do a couple of things to improve it. retake it doing exactly the same things, but speak faster. I played the video at 3x speed. and I understood you. so you are articulating or enunciating well. I could actually make a tie with this.

    Very impressed. Now I know why I subscribed to your channel from a few other videos that I saw. You explain it in such great detail without skipping what I consider important parts that make the difference between a great tie and a hot mess. You rock and keep up the good work.

    If the front of the tie has a cool design, how do you cut so that the cut pieces match up instead of not match up?

    • @ProperFitClothing
      @ProperFitClothing  8 лет назад +1

      +Bennie Slagter you can widen the pattern to your desired size. Pattern is made to be adjustable. Assemble is the same.

    • @bennieslagter7543
      @bennieslagter7543 8 лет назад

      ProperFit Clothing Co. I suppose i dont widen it with the same centimeters all the way,, that would make the neck pece way 2 wide. How much centimeters on the bottom ( wide bit ) and how many centimeters going up? And how far up? Half way?

    Would It be possible to make a short video on how to sew the tip lining onto the tie. I've watched that section of this video 13452 times and mine ends up with a different size width at the tip of the tie compared to the rest of the tip. I've measured it all exactly to your measurements but feel I must be doing something wrong. Thanks

    This is one of the best tutorials I have seen as I went off of these instructions for my small business! Is there anyway that you could create a tutorial on a standard 3.5” necktie and put more emphasis on ways to implement interlining/interfacings. Also could you put more instructions on tie bottom and top? I seemed to struggle the most with those areas! Also if interested check out Instagram gz_ties which is Designs By Guillermo LLC.

      @@ProperFitClothing awesome is there anyway possible that whoever runs this account could connect with me on LinkdIn at www.linkedin.com/in/gzeigler/ ! I am in dire need of assistance tonight & tomorrow to complete this neck tie pattern as I have a customer who is looking to order from me. Mainly just making sure the interlining for bottom of the tie matches perfectly.
