As always, thanks for taking us lot with you- I’ve not made it to New York yet so really great to see the Statue of Liberty that well. Apparently, the statue has many little hidden meanings, my favourite being the seven spikes on the crown symbolising the seven continents and seven seas of the world. Perfect for a travel vlog 😊
I went to Canada 25-years ago and I learned how to Ski 🎿, I learned how to Ski ⛷ with a Ski-School. It was very cold 🥶 in Canada 🇨🇦, minus 9 back then in the 90s. Hope your okay Dale? 👍😉😄🥶🇨🇦😉👍
Very nice reminds me of my trip to New York, I had a trip on the Staten Island ferry seen most of the sights you saw but it’s free. Thanks for sharing your trip.
As one of your “us lot” it’s great to see you again Dale and hope your job still secure, maybe you could consider sharing your mints, this reminds me of the film “ miracle on the Hudson “ where the jet made a water landing on the Hudson.
Excellent video. It was great to see around New York from the river and brought back happy memories for me. It was also good to see the superyacht and the Staten Island ferry.
Thanks, Dale. My wife and I went to New York in 2003. Great to see it from the water. Brought back lovely memories especially when you went under Brooklyn Bridge which we walked across.
Thanks Dale for taking us all on the river cruise during your trip to New York. Big fan of boat trips, great to see NY from the water. You got a good day for your sail, as well! 😊 👍
Hi Dale lovely video I love NYC its my favourite place on our planet, thanks for the lovely views it's made my day. All the best for now keep well. Mark D.
The cranes on barges are part of the work on the Gateway tunnel for Amtrak. They’re basically making the river bottom easier for the TBMs to cut through.
Really enjoyed this little tour. Spent my whole life living in North Carolina and never really toured NYC (been through the airports a few times). The one and only time (so far at least) I went to London (2023), we did the London Eye River Cruise, and I would say your NYC tour was MUCH better than that one. While I think London is much prettier, our experience on the London Eye tour wasn't great since we weren't able to get a seat on the upper-deck (although we arrived well in advance of departure). So, we basically saw the walls around the river. My son was pretty upset he couldn't go up top. I asked a member of staff if we could stand up there, but they wouldn't let us. Glad you were able to stand on the NYC one and take in the nice views!
That's pretty fine way to while away some time! I never realised lady liberty was that far out either! I can't remember the last time we had that much blue sky in the UK.
Looks like a genuinely worthwhile excursion - great sights and a great way to see them! Thanks for this glimpse of your trip. I've only seen the Statue of Liberty by using the Staten Island ferry (many times) and a helicopter tour (just once); I imagine your boat trip was probably better than both! A walk over the Brooklyn bridge is definitely worth doing, but I'd agree that 30C is a bit too hot for that! Definitely agree that both the Empire State building and Top of the Rock are worth doing for the views - both at night and during the day. As for 'One World Trade Center', I'll have to visit that if I ever get back to Manhattan - that building was still under construction when I last went to NYC! Glad to hear you both had a great trip, and I very much look forward to your next video!
Me and my son was in new York in July for a week forgot to do the river cruises it looks lovely maybe next time if I go back to new York thanks for the video keep them coming please
Love river trips. l guess it would be something to go on that one, but l think that the buildings and skyline of London are much more beautiful and impressive. Perhaps that is one for you to do? Ok, l know it is familiar to us, but not with your inimital commentary!
such a shame dale that you cant post you at work on the underground . have has another person who works for tfl and has posted stuff on here been stoped aswell
Living in Brooklyn,NY I have taken that cruise a few times. I have visited the statue. The Statue of Liberty looks grand now that Trump is president elect. Be careful if you take the NYC subway. It is not safe.
Thanks once more for an excellent video Dale. We look forward to seeing more of your travels.

Enjoy your break mate. Have a great time
Have done many boat cruises around NYC. The night cruises are great too
Nice little trip Dale. I didn't realise the statue was so far out. Think I would have preferred you to have done the commentary.

Have you ever been up the Statue of Liberty 🗽?
I have not. That is the closest I have been to the lady herself
Are you in NY now? Come down to South New Jersey we’ll have a pint.
Can we see the subway?
