Ty for your videos, you’ve helped me with the suspension install as well as this one for the rear motor mount. A rubber mallet came in handy when putting in the RMM.
I did the LED swap on my hatchback civic touring. And when I took out the lights to replace the blinker, I cracked the assembly. I didn't even notice until it rained and I got moisture in it. I ended up using epoxy to reseal but it sucks becuase it was a pain to loosen the little nipple things that hold it in place, and that's where they cracked. I used the LasFit LED bulbs for the same areas you did. I also have the white part of the tail lights wrapped with black vinyl and the lasfit buls are a lot brighter even over the wrap. Wish I could show you, but if you want them to be brighter I totally recommend them over the Phillips. Your car is awesome and your videos are really cool! Thanks for the Vlogs!
Hi heard lasfit are good I might have to give them a try next time. Thanks for watching the vlogs!
Love the headlights! And fully reversible if you ever get bored of the yellow.
Yeah totally changes the look of the front end and gives the true jdm vibe.
Beautiful . Beautiful!
Very cool, i went with lasfits led reverse and turn signals. They are mega bright.
That's what everyone is saying Lasfit are very bright!
I’m super keen to do the Mugen lights. They do look a bit like a mustang (boomer car) but I still like them.
I'm actually on the fence on getting them. They do look nice in person. The nice thing about them is they have the Mugen brand and logo on the inside of the lights when you look at them up close.
Hello would that mount work for the 2024 honda civic sport? Awesome video buddy
Yes it should be the same motor mount.
@phothrottle awesome and thank you, buddy
I always thought the main point for the lower mount was to reduce the wheel hop at 1st gear dig, have you verified if it did that?
I haven't tried a first gear launch with the new lower mount. I will have to give it a try and give us guys an update.
I go with the lasfit led bulb
Why did you go back to the stock steering wheel?
Yes I went back to stock for now until I fine a better solution to the turn single stock. It's just too far away from the steering wheel.
@@phothrottlethey make turn signal extensions
I wasn't a big fan of the look with the extentions installed. Thanks for letting me know.
Check out the lasfit bulbs, huge difference!
With the Phillips I notice the lights blink a lot faster when you use the turn signals is it the same with the Lasfit?

@@phothrottle same speed, I believe they have built in resistors
@@OnederElite thanks for the update!
Is this mount a huge upgrade from the stock for a daily type R? I don’t track my car.
I have the PRL in my type R and it makes a huge difference!
There is definitely a noticeable difference at idle and engine response feels a lot quicker.
@@phothrottlehow is it with AC on at idle?
@douglaskrueger357 yes
@@phothrottle is it livable at idle? Concerned about too much vibration with AC on.
Pro tip use manual focus on your camera
Thanks!
Both bolt torque down to 69 pound ?
Yes
How did you torque down the horizontal bolt? Seems like not enough room for a torque wrench + socket there.
You are correct. There is not enough room to get a torque wrench in. I just torque to spec by feel.
Thank you for the quick response, I figured that’s what most people were doing. I saw a couple posts about crowfoot wrench on the forums so wanted to see if most people were actually doing that or not.
@johnyoutube1351 yeah the crowfoot wrench is your best option to get the proper torque spec.
Here is instructions on how to properly use the crowfoot with torque wrench.
