Nice touch that this mode has different stage ending quotes from Starbuckle. Like the little stuff to signal it’s a different mode with its own stuff and not just a retread with no checkpoints.
This game, Lumpy's Gorefield animations and the countless fan arts, memes and comic have absolutely tarnished my perception of Garfield lmfao. I no longer see that lazy, Lasagna loving, Monday hater orange cat with nostalgia and Fondness. Now only the monster remains. And i think that's pretty sick.
Let’s all take a little time to applaud Jon Arbuckle. We live in an age where it’s very common to abandon your pet when times get too rough. Jon stuck it out through some real tough spots.
It's taken from other games, which you can see in the credits. I also thought some of them were great, especially stage 2, but couldn't help but think it sounded familiar. Sure enough, it was from another game.
@@johnmclain250 most of the music is original. The stage music is by MelonadeM, and the boss theme in this video is by psychoangel. I did use music from other games for the map/debrief/cutscenes.
After playing through this what was your favorite mode of firing Someone says spaghetti is the best for its wall bouncing properties alongside triple shot But I want to hear your opinion Macaroni regular or spaghetti?
Spaghetti is perfect for clearing stage enemies and against bosses where you can stay close to them. Macaroni is good against bosses where you have to keep a distance. Ravioli... just sucks compared to other two weapons.
i prefer it when it is, the funniest thing it can do is play this whole plot straight. a literal clown as the general, jon as a war veteran, garfield as an eldrich abomination, odie as a gravity manipulating space ship?it being played as a joke would be the expected thing, but playing it straight like the main campaign does is incredibly unexpected
I have to sat that I'm a little disappointed by this ending. Not because of it being memetic, which was funny, but I fully expected Lumpy to go full Dodonpachi there. With the cutscenes gradually starting to get fuzzier and more nonsensical until it was revelaed that Gar-Type D was slowly absorbing and assimilating John during the missions. Cue extra final stage, you're at Gorestar's side, shooting down Earth's last lines of defense, against the remaining Gar-Types and their pilots which were already established not being anywhere as good as John and D, then fight the motherbase and its cannons as the new final boss. Twist the knife, really.
Thank you kindly for playing!
You're an ace pilot!
How has nobody found this comment yet
Lumpy my beloved
The myth the legend
That ending was over the top. Gave me a chuckle
LAMP!
>Monday Mode
>On Monday
>Where I am it's still Monday
Darn. Perfect.
I agree
Tuesday ):
And the FINAL Monday of the year at that!
This upload is so fresh I can still smell the pixels
they smell like lasagna
"In this mode, you can't take a single hit!"
For Gellot, that's a Tuesday.
Which was ironic, considering it was Mondays.
hi fugue
Best ending ever, peak, no ending of any game will ever top this.
KH2 would like a word with you
I know it's a joke but outer wilds was legendary
I love this joke so much... However...
Cursed 2 Hardcore ending CAN rival it
Shovel Knight had a great ending.
Dang it Jim Davis!

I like how the boss music changes on Monday Mode to a custom track.
I didn't even notice that when I played it, the music kinda gets drowned out

Fun fact : The music for the "secret ending" is the boss theme from the Power Rangers : The Movie SNES game
I was about to say that hahahaha
13:04 John gave Garfield that “nah I’d win” face
I understood that reference
“A bonus CBT mode.”
"But jon..theres no air! Youll die"
"Nah."
that may be Jon...but I am dead from laughing too hard. XD
"But would you lose, Gellot?"
"Nah, I'd no-hit."
Can't wait for Eyepatch Wolf to see this.
This would break him (again).
Dropped just in time to commemorate his brand new Garfield tattoo!
Ending starts here 12:51
Peak starts here
OPEN THE HATCH, D.

YOULL DIE!!!
that secret ending is a bit of lumpytouch goofyness that everyone liked 🤣so random yet hilarious
Must be a monday
Funnily enough it actually is a Monday today
Normal mode : bitter ending
CBT mode : satisfied endin- oh wait
*There's always a bigger Jim...Davis.*
It’s always Mondays when things are at their worst

This game’s ost is Beautiful!

Holy fuck it's so silly and so sad at the same time... Especially since Gorefild univers was so dry for so long.
wth is that ending bro 💀
Killing Gorestar in such fashion attracted Megajim Davistar, consumer of reality.
I tried so hard… 😢
That secret ending was definitely an ending.
13:13 Jon doing the exact same thing as Gus Fring did to Walter (from Breaking Bad Gameboy'd)
Thanks for showing us your amazing skills as always,
I LOBE HOW TTHIS GME DOESNT EVEN TALE ITSELF SERIOUSLY LOL ITS TOO GOODDD
Dang it Megajim Davistar! Consuming all of reality!
That ending 😭😭😭
13:04 nah he became Gojo Satoru💀
Damn, I just realize that
Dude looks like Hisoka
13:03 absolute cinema
*CONGRTULATULACTIONS!*
That Thumbnail....DIO?! Either way its great to see Jon looking like a Badass for a change
"I'm invincibleeee!!!!" - Weakest boss in the game lmao
Good old Blue-Lasers and being the strongest pattern in the game
I like how Monday mode is literally one big shitpost
In the end, it didn’t matter
To understand how similar this game is,YT itself labeled it as R-Type in the description.
I see what you did there... 00:15 - 00:25
mondays, amirite
Based ending
I wonder if this was inspired by Stage F-C from R-Type Final. Same deal, no lives, no continues, one hit and it's Game Over.
Gotta say, Jon Arbuckle looks really cool.
After playing through this what was your favorite mode of firing
Someone says spaghetti is the best for its wall bouncing properties alongside triple shot
But I want to hear your opinion
Macaroni regular or spaghetti?
Spaghetti (Bluelaser) can allow for some ballsy “High DPS” tech even without walls to bounce off by face hugging enemies.
Why do I want to belive the Regular mode would be called ravioli XD lol
I genuinely believe spaghetti is the best mode, but I can see why you would choose macaroni...atleast against the first two bosses.
And tbf, they are all the names of pasta so...
Spaghetti is perfect for clearing stage enemies and against bosses where you can stay close to them.
Macaroni is good against bosses where you have to keep a distance.
Ravioli... just sucks compared to other two weapons.
What's the linkin park remix at the end
Link in the description (there's no full version though)
i couldve sworn i saw a Kotetsushin Jeeg reference somewhere
*But there's no air!*
That's amazing
Qué juegazo!!
OPEN THE HATCH, D.
Peak shitpost by Lumpy.
i love the ost music in the ending it sounds very familiar with advance wars
VAMOS TUDO DE NOVO 🤧🤧👌
Lore accurate John
Excellent timing
The true ending to, "GarFiend."
It starts with… 😞💔💔
monday hours on a monday on a monday
Can somebody tell me the name of the track of stage two, please?

you know, I thought this was a good game before the 'jojo' reference but hey here we are.
Bravo Gellot didn't know you're into shmups!
Goty❤
Reminds me of Fist of the Borfstar
There’s always is a bigger Jim…
I would pay good money and lazagna for the soundtrack
The ending was both high quality and low quality. Lol
Nice.
..Please tell me this is the real ending on this mode 😂😂😂
I honestly prefer the game this way as opposed to trying to take itself seriously in the normal mode.
i prefer it when it is, the funniest thing it can do is play this whole plot straight. a literal clown as the general, jon as a war veteran, garfield as an eldrich abomination, odie as a gravity manipulating space ship?it being played as a joke would be the expected thing, but playing it straight like the main campaign does is incredibly unexpected
Jon i require a port for Android
Lmao that ending
...seeing that ending, I wish you didn't do this mode...
Sorry chad, i guess opening the hatch wasnt it. Too bad your prominent muscles werent enough to save the day.

Linkin Park - In The End remix was terrible..
Sorry but since you didn't leave in the level select im not going to believe you and im starting to think this is splicedddd
There is no level select in monday mode.
I believe that's just boss rush, but with levels as addition.
