Thanks for this! We are traveling via RC in a couple weeks. Costa Maya is our last stop... We are thinking of renting a golf cart for the family... I saw some golf carts riding by, but how about golf cart parking? Looks like plenty by the lighthouse/tower, but what about in towards downtown? Or would you just leave the golf cart by the tower? Thanks!
There are plenty of spots to drive on up into town and tuck your cart aside while you enjoy a massage or cantina. But I should say I don't remember seeing any in town. I might not have been paying attention. You'd have to check whether they are allowed I suppose. Thanks for watching. Have a great time.
Hi there. It's all public access. It was ok to sit near some trees for protection from the wind. It's really windy at that spot. The waves might be too high there to safely swim most of the time it seems. Happy travels
How much was the massage? I know you said 1/3 of what you pay on the cruise but what did you see the average price of hour massage going for? We are heading there and trying to decide whether or not to go to this area for one. It was recommended to me a couple years ago and I never made it. Back then someone said they paid like $20-30 on the beach.
Good morning, Tampa here. Costa Maya is the only port in Mexico I have not visited. My cruise from Tampa takes me there on May 16th, and I too have planned a walk over to Mahahual for the afternoon. Your lunch looked really good, and the beers are a no brainer !! Thanks for the advance tour.
Thank you so much for the walking tour. Watching from England uk
Thanks for watching. Happy travels! Cheers!

Nice port. I was there years ago. It certainly has changed.
I had a beautiful visit. My first time. If I'm ever cruising to Costa Maya, I will go here every time. Thanks for watching!
Do you have free access to the pools in port?
Yes you do. Enjoy! Happy travels and thanks for watching.
Can you swim at the beach there? Is it public??
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching
I’m wondering what the beach is like by the tower/lighthouse? Is it public access?
