Buying Camus and Jaffar was the turning point of me beating Awakening Lunatic+, I could've bought Jamke earlier but I didn't cuz I was broke from buying Altena after Chapter 5
Einherjars are a really cool concept. Bringing back so many units (even including niche picks like Blunder and Oppenheimer) adds a lot of replayability. It honestly might be a better reference mechanic than the Emblem Rings.
It was crazy how he left out Blunder as a user of galeforce as well as his completely unique skill "get read pussies" which gives him an astonishing 50+ avoid, really helped carry mean on my ubers+ difficulty run
I feel like ishtar having astra could be referencing her absurd adept rate in fe4? With her capped speed and effective 0 weight weapon it gives her a ludicrous 50% adept proc rate which makes her very scary to fight in most circumstances (that is if you don’t just disable her with a staff)
Marth and tiki are pretty cool overall. Used Marth as a bonus unit for morgan as nobody was gonna marry my daughter. NOBODY Oh and tiki with gale force on top of dragon makes her a better nowi Guess next is the dlc units and how they factor into things like Anna in fates. The crew from echoes. Engage units who I actually like they are good and so on.
Honestly, I LOVE using the Einherjar! It's just a really nice way to call back to the entire series, including Gaiden! Can you guess who my favorite Einherjar is?
How did we go from the pre amiboo way to get avatar based legend units and a special Marth class in lodestar to then get the amazing fates amiboo where you basically get 4 special units in special classes with special weapons to the tragedy of echoes...... everything in echoes. Jokes aside (not on echoes that's a joke aside the art as I like the artist) it just kept going downwards where the potential was there with echoes having so many special classes in a system that sucks up to engage where the units go back to being special but to use them you gotta play Veronica lottery Basically give us an fe game where we can get these units playable even at level one. No excuses like "oh we cant program that in" as engage literally has them same as fates and awakening. Makes me with for a fates remake or heck awakening and just put the amiboo system in
Incredibly clean editing as always. However, you forgot to mention the revolutionary inclusions of Einherjar Landorus Therian and Oppenheimer. Unsubbed.
the ending put my thoughts so well!!! it’s nice seeing all these self referential love letters knowing this could have been the last time we ever saw these characters
I guess Camus and Jaffar having Galeforce are supposed to be referring to how they were known as the dreaded in their home games? (Camus moving and having Gradivus, and Jaffar being known in the Black Fang as the Angel of Death). As for why Jamke has it, your guess is as good as mine.
@@FEScarf In a sense, yes. But Gaiden actually got some time in the spotlight because of Awakening, so it just would've been nice to see Gaiden Einherjars be mentioned, too.
I am obligated to comment not out of can urge to correct, but the desire for the algorithm to be gracious to you, that the names are Iuchar and Iucharba, not Luchar and Lucharba.
Because Jugdral is obsessed with referencing Irish mythology. It's wild that even in the story they're based on, the oldest brother is named Brian - a perfectly normal name compared to the rest.
i did not mean to make this public this soon so if there's a mistake blame past scarf (unless its good in which case praise past scarf)
My favourite einherjar is Edward
But Jimothy Cool has to be a close second
Jamke has Galeforce as a reference to the fact that he attacks like, 20 times in one turn
My distaste of that one Ike art aside, these Einherjar were really unique and made Awakening so replayable, which is its strongest aspect imo.

Also this editing is so good holy shit

Yeah einhejar, best rallybots of the game

I gave awakening about 1000 hours since like 2014. And I still played it this month. It started my FE journey, and is still my best FE.

Super neat to see a vid on this. Imagine just summoning hero spirits from cards tho
Ogrepon is a very good FE unit

scarf has let his audience down again
It was tragic when chi-yu betrayed Sigurd and chi-yued all over the army
Love your editing !❤
AMAZING VIDEO AS ALWAYS! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
My favorite Einerjhar is CTC
These scripted videos are amazing. Your production quality is really great.
I feel this was a cipher reference

@MemeMuseum23 you know what, I legit forgot Jamke knows Accost. Thinking about it now, ig it does make sense he has Galeforce
You bring up such good points at 3:30!
excellent video homie wtf
I'm not the biggest fan of Awakening, but I loved this video!
One thing you should've done differently was mention Gaiden and its characters more.
i have a feeling you have one in mind already

It's also nice to see the original art of Gaiden characters, they're not the easiest to come by

lol good thing i never tried saying them then. why tf couldnt their names just be like mark or tim something easy

4:02 Good pun.
Good editing
0:49 hate to be that guy but Nina is not an NPC as she is a recruitable and playable unit in FE3 and FE12
lol come on she's in the fe1 group and she's an npc in fe1.
1:33 Earya not Ayra.
song at the beginning?
Didn’t even mention Oppenheimer I’m unsubscribing
