With the spacer behind your rotor, there is no flange left for your wheel to be centered on the hub. It's not hubcentric anymore. You can't rely on the bolts alone to center your wheel to the hub since the tolerance is not tight enough.
The spacer post rotor is hub centric. Meaning it's holes are aligned via studs and has a small hub ring to center the wheel. Thus everything stays aligned and centered. I never had any vibrations or balancing issues or issues at all relating to your concern. And the car was taken to 160mph plenty of times.
Thanks for the vid! Im about to do the same swap on my 05. Im going to machine the calipers down roughly 5mm to eliminate the spacer inbetween the rotor and hub. I didnt know about the studs having to be shaved in order to install/ remove. Maybe the 05 type S has more clearance.???
@@calawaydp its only the dust sheid that the studs hit right? I just watched another install vid (05/06 type s and the studs have plenty of room to enter and exit with the dust sheild removed/cut.

Will this work with stock rsx wheels or will I need to buy new ones? I have a k24 swapped em2 5 lug swapped from an rsx and ep3 steering and I want to upgrade the brakes before I turbo it.
Thank you for the vid! Planning on doing all the same mods to my DC5 as well. Will be using this vid as reference. Keep it up!!
Did you end up doing this? I'm thinking of it, but hear that it makes the front too strong.

Where can I get a rebuild kit for the tl brembo
Auto parts stores

Not sure. Offset plays a big part in fitment
Can i reuse the oem rsx brake line with the brembos?
Yes u can
I want to ask a question can I use RSX type S rotors for the TL type S BREMBO calipers
No
@@calawaydp thanks.
Np
What where the torque specs on the hex caps on the calipers?
Cant remember. I googled it
U have link to them arp studs
1007712
U have any problems with brembo on hub
Link to extended studs?
1007712 part number
Did you have the TSX big brake conversion on before or were those stock RSX ?
I had oem rsx type s brakes that came on it. I actually have those for sale. I bought this oem tl type s stuff and installed
will this work on a 2002 rsx base?
I don't believe so
You’d have to swap to type s hubs and axles before getting into the tl-s brembos.
Did you have to send your calipers out to dc5creations ?
Nope
What year is ur rsx ?
It was an 03
Will it work on a 05
