They did similar to me. And they stole $750 from me. My car had/has no mechanical issues. They dont even have some of the pids selected on their config files to monitor these issues. Thats why they cant see the issues. Theyd rather blame mechanical issues. Im sure some are mechanical so I can only speak to my interactions with Lund. I paid for the lund tune in question with paypal bill me later. I requested a refund and they denied me. So i esclated with paypal and after 90 days i won a refund. For the bogus $500 whipple tune. Almost a year previous i paid for the 4 credits and e85 tuning. When I won my refund they went back almost a year and took the 4 credits i paid for when buying the e85 tune, which never was an issue. So now i paid for 4 credits and a e85 tune $750 that i cant even use. And i only got refunded $500 for the whipple tune.
Shouldn’t have won a refund at all dumbass they gave you the tune whether it does what you want ain’t worthy of a refund. Fuckin entitled whiny kids man.
I mean you literally have all the receipts for the entire experience. I think if you cleaned up and calmed down your presentation a little bit, you might have better luck here
How anyone expects to dial in a car that oughta make near 4 digits, via email, is beyond me. Take it somewhere and have someone tune it in person. I’ve had multiple cars with identical mods have vastly different maf curves. Not everything is as efficient as the next one. If your fuel trims are adding x percent, I really don’t care what size your tb is or how many vacuum leaks you have, I’m adding x percent to the base and you’re leaving with a running car. Not to mention the mechanical issues you had- after owning a tuning business for a decade that’s expected but you find that kinda stuff real quick tuning in real time. Can’t tell you how many cars pass my checklist I give out ahead of time that still aren’t ready for tuning. Sometimes you can’t find these issues until someone at least gets it running.

I am on Lund and have no issues; it's a solid build on my end. They will resolve the issue but may take some time to vet out and issues

I would assume the reason the car is running better is. You fixxed all issues even ones not stated in emails and giving the other tuner the correct info about the build probably helped. A tuner is just that a tuner "calibrator" they're not there to help you diagnosethe problems. The fact alex tried helping you work it out is going beyond what he's paid to do. I can see the frustration on both sides in the emails.

@Alfonso-mh1np not really necessary. They do add a bit more rigidity. That's about it

My favorite Lund response for a car driving like ass is "if you wanted it to drive like stock should have left it stock." Alex isn't a tuner, 80% of the people you talk to aren't tuners. They just shift parameters, they have no understanding on how the ECU is modeled.
I almost made a video kinda like this. Lund tune totally sold me a jacked up tune and would keep blaming the car. after 5 revisions they couldnt even get the fuel trims right. I went with AED and with only one revision everything was dead on. I dont know what Lund sold me but it seemed easy for AED. And surely it was not the car lol.

LoL. Right. Its just a stock car with a cold air and headers. Nothing crazy. Ran fine with a sct can tune but lunds tune not so much. Sad it ran ok with a SCT can tune but not lund. AED got it dead on though
@ that same file that’s worked for like 20,000+ customers? That’s one of their most basic tunes my guy. Make it make sense. You’re the 1 in 20k, sounds like the issue was car related.
@@michaelweatherby144 I know right. I thought the same thing. Right off the rip the tuner started bitching about the RTD unit that I purchased from them. Saying it will always be nothing but problems. I was like great, nice start. They had me doing crank relearns and all. Nothing fixed the random misfires. I got ahold of AED. He had me do a data log using my original tune (the one used before lund), said it looked good. Then he mailed me a base tune and date logged that. Made a few minor corrections and sent the completed tune. It was dead on with fuel trims never getting further out then 2 or 3. No complaints.
🤣If your a lund employee, call my car junk again please. That will motivate me to make a video just like this with all the emails and all lol. I have over 8k subs. they might enjoy it.

Let me start by saying I’ve had to put incorrect data into a tuners ticket because they didn’t have the right options listed (not lund) and I’ve had to pull an injector, send pics of every possible part, and do days of diag on cars, so I completely understand the frustration. However, these tuners are forced to help people diagnose their cars with a datalog and from what we say in the ticket system. So it is smart on their end to have pictures of parts and to have verbal communication confirming you did what you said you were going to do, if they simply change the tune from our request then bad things will obviously happen. I’ve also seen the RTD app mess up tunes and either not properly flash or mess up the file entirely, so good chance that came into play too. Its tough to have every issue worked out before requesting a tune but when a car has 4 ish issues I don’t blame them from wanting you to take it to a shop, they gotta get cars in and out of the ticket system, diagnosing cars slows it down for everyone attached to that tuner at lund. Don’t want to start a war, just trying to reply to you what I saw over this whole video, watched it till the end, tuning issues suck, I feel your pain, try not to hate me.
Man, it really sucks seeing these problems. I tried to get a Lund tune recently and it was not successful. I’ve got a relatively simple build with good parts. They couldn’t even make the car start without me giving it throttle input. Transmission shifted terribly, and driving around just sucked. They kept telling me the car was built wrong and “this is the tune we send everyone”. The only thing custom with their tune is the maf curve because it has to be custom. Any time you ask for a specific change, they talk to you like you’re stupid.

You act like people don’t delete the ABS module and or adapt the Whipple CJ MAF housing to s197. It’s literally a MAF housing with a hose barb on each end, people have them in several different chassis.

Charge your card back. If you used credit card, its a lot easier. Tell them its a fraudulent charge as you did not get the product you paid for, offered to return it, and were denied a refund. You should also shout out the tuner that got your car going. This will make me rethink lund.
You won’t win a chargeback against Lund if they already sent you a tune. Once the tune is sent, whether it runs the way you want or not, service has been provided. You can’t get a refund on a product that’s been used like that. Like getting a refund on a steak you just ate bc it wasn’t cooked perfectly medium rare
@michaelweatherby144 This is more like asking for japanese a5 wagyu, taking a bite, realizing it's actually normal top sirloin, and requesting they fix their mistake, they decline they ever made a mistake and that all a5 is the same, and no matter what proof you have that you got a top sirloin, you're stuck with it. Sounds fraudulent to me.
@ a chef can taken back that steak and fix it, you can’t recover a digital file like that. And the file was correct, the steak was wagyu, but the motor wasn’t right mechanically.
@@FeelFighters There was no mistake, The customer ordered the tune for the wrong parts, Had cam correlation issues due to a bad crank sensor, had a freyed wiring harness that rubbed on the pulley, And ordered the tune for the wrong cai. HE ordered the wrong tune, had tons of mechanical issues, And thought it was tuning related. AFTER he fixed his issues he got a tune elsewhere. He won't get a refund.
@@YDBT4LIFEso now that the issues are fixed and the calibrator was made aware, why does the car run 60% lean? We are to just assume that every single thing is wrong on this car and Lund is flawless and never messes up.

Hello, I have a question and I hope you can help me, I have the F-150 XL 2020 with the most basic display, I have completed all the steps, the IPC module appears exactly the same, (only one option to enable), also verify that you have the fuse and everything is in order, even the intensity controller works, but it does not appear on the screen when I increase or decrease the braking intensity, nothing appears but it does work, any suggestions? Do I have to activate something else to get the information on the screen?

How do I remove rain x from my window fluid bottle. I filled my tank wit half bottle off it. Nd it keeps coming on the window when I change the water!
Probably have to pull the fluid reservoir and thoroughly clean it. Several times. Or just replace it entirely
