EASY FIX! How to remove a Stuck Joy-Con Wrist Strap when it is Upside Down / Wrong Way Round

- Hi, this video shows an EASY FIX on how to remove the Joy Con Wrist Strap from the Joy-Con controller when it has been put on the wrong way round. Very simple to do with the back of a teaspoon, butter knife or flat headed screw driver.

@@anigilator5936 lol it actually happened a bit after I first commented on here but I got some grips for the console that seem to ease the weight the joycons bear by a good amount so my new ones have lasted me a while longer with no issues 😃

This isn’t even the real way to do this there is a button on the back of the controller you need to press that down while the white lock switch is open and then it will slide off

How did it get stuck I’ve been trying to get it stuck but it dosent it keep popping out easily even if I lock it on the wrong side
This isn’t even the proper way to do this there is a button on the back of the joy con control that you can press down and use the slide off but make sure the white switch is not on lock

Litterally life-saver. My friend like to play with the strap and put it on the wrong side. Since it's not my switch and never play with it, i thought it went into the top instead of the bottom, so I was pulling on the wrong side. Thanks for the detailed demonstration.

Toon Linkie it's a kids product, as much as you want to think of it as an adult-only thing it's still a toy and kids will end having this problems. I said design flaw when seeing it from a kid-friendly thing, not as a hater. Best regards.

autistic screecher my brother is 12 and he put the straps on backwards multiple times.
My kids did this against the rule to only use them in the controller cradle ever which was set because they lost two for a month previously.
Brought me this last night and they were suspended from games until I could figure it out. They better thank you, cause it was only a day and 1 minute of total effort.

Also 6-7 year old kids. Seriously, for a company that has a reputation of being kid friendly, this was a really stupid overlook. At least for the neon controllers, they could have just have the straps of the same colour. The black + and - symbols over a black background are so easy to ignore.

UltimateCosmic I'm not stupid, of course I undo the lock, but it's hard to remove, like really! I make myself bleed when I take them of the first time.
Thibaut Mahringer its pretty easy for me even though you has to apply a little strength cause its basically a lock so its not extremely easy to take it off
Brand news one are a bitch to take off. There IS a resistance when your taking the off but after taking them off often they give much easier. I actually use the straps to give the joy con some beef when holding them separately

Well, this look's like Nintendo accidentally created Trollface quest game in real life setting. If you broke the Joy-Con and its cap, you're done, no way of retrying again like a simple click.
