a friend of mine broke their mario kart game cartridge in the laundry machine. $60 down the drain when you can just invest in a good micro sd card and digital games.

I both have physical library of games and digital library but I don't buy games twice, I only buy physical games that is really worth buying the physical like the first party nintendo games because it's worth to keep it in collection while I just buy digital games that are ports or from 3rd party publishers because eventually they will be on sale and I can get them for cheap. @Karen Berthel The issue was specific to Nintendo Switch. However, it's worth noting that DBrand recalled the products and gave all its customers a refund. Well, it's not really a recall but more like order cancellation coz the skins were still pre-orders. The issue with the adhesive is now fixed.

Ok, I want to actually give some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback: Having only 1 switch account will not damage your console. It just limits to what you can get on the switch’s shop. For using cheap plugs..... it depends on the plug. As you mentioned a certain brand. You can always use cheap plugs that are compatible with Nintendo devices. “Don’t put skins on your devices.” : Only SOME skins damage the joycons. In some of the pictures of damaged joycons you displayed, most were actually from a certain company, but, they stopped selling and are offering refunds. Carrying it without a case is simply the choice of how the user would like to use the console in a way. Whether portable, or not. From my experience, the switch is VERY durable, and as long as the user is careful, nothing SHOULD happen. I do have to agree though, that they help keep everything for the switch in one area.. preventing anything from getting lost, though, that wasn’t the case you were supporting here. Ok... “don’t use boring usernames.” This really has no effect on the console... it really just displays how a person would like to present themselves to the world...
"don't buy digital e games because it uses storage" Why did they give us storage then? Oh my god I’ve never gotten this many Hours of sleep before thank you!!
@Thiensson Nguyen wow if someone isn't using atleast a 128gig SD card on there switch then they are doing it wrong and I don't know maybe spending 10$ on a SD card so I can get good deals on the eshop like yesterday when I got monster hunter on 50% off XD your comment was full ewarrior
@Thiensson Nguyen well I'll say this when you got 2 children and 3 switches it get way more expensive buying 3 copy's of a game where I can buy 1 on the eshop and use game share to play it on all 3 for the price of 1 and another thing is in my country there aren't any deals on physical games they all cost full price ,each of our switches has 512 gig SD card and together they were still cheaper than 1 game XD
@Thiensson Nguyen that is incorrect do some research man ,the main switch can launch the game with the a different account and secondary switch uses the main account and you can still play the game online with both at the same time as long as the accounts are in your family group ,also possible with 3 consoles but that's more tricky and will take too long to explain
It’s worth mentioning that you should always push the release button when removing your joycons. 2 out of 3 people I know that own switches have broken locking mechanisms on their joycons. It’s super easy to just rip it out and when the strap is on be sure the latch is unlocked. Also get a screen protector, as the dock can actually scratch the plastic screen.
Were the locking mechanisms that fragile in the original switch? My first switch is the OLED model and I felt like an idiot when I found out about locking mechanisms. Because those things wouldn't budge at ALL if I had them locked.
@@willow_and_morel Two years I have been carrying my switch with me in my pocket to work, and that's taking the joy cons off and just putting them in my pocket and the console in the other pocket with my phone...no problems to date...
OH NO!What should you do? well let me think... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
With the USB-C issue, it's unlikely the cheaper one will break your switch, as they all have to go through safety tests regardless, although it's much more likely to undercharge your console, this is because switch USB-C brick actually outputs a higher wattage than a USB-C brick designed for your phone
My uncle who is an electrician actually reccomended me to use my iphone brick (the iphone 6+ one) to charge my switch over my ipad’s one. I was on vacation and the dock took up too much space. My case came with a cable so i used that. Charging was definitely slow and i noticed it running out faster but then again i just had a new game, played more than i usually do, and this solution is holiday only. So id only use it if im going to leave my home for extended periods of time. The rest is dock time with the nintendo wires.
0:50 DONT PAY CHEAPER PRODUCTS! USE NINTENDO ONES!!! 5:50 DONT USE NINTENDO SAN DISK USE CHEAPER ONES!!! jeez dude make up ur mind! Do u want us to buy the cheaper option or not 🙄
"The Switch will get damaged if carried in a lose bag"? Dude, Someone dropped the console from a 1,000 foot altitude onto solid asphalt, and it was intact! (Though one of the joycons was a goner) I'm not worried about carrying it in a bag.
That one joycon took the whole blow to save the rest of the switch... rip. And i bought one because i didnt feel comfortable logging it around freely since i broke my tablet and computer almost like that
No no, they kind of have a point, I kept mine in a messenger bag on a flight and the screen protector got destroyed, the screen itself is plastic so it should be an issue but there is a glass lcd underneath that could break if something hits it just right, I would highly suggest using a protective carrying case
@@Jaxx.A. all hdmi are not the same, there are different revisions and a 1.1 cable might not work for certain things where a 2.1 might. And the longer the cable the more important the quality of the cable.
There are a lot of kids out there that dosent know about these things and the parents who has no clue about what a switch is wouldn't know this so it's a lot helpfully to many people's.
GD Osman002, actually a lot of these things aren't nearly as necessary as the video is making them sound. And it seems like a lot of this video is based on misinformation or outdated information. If anything, most of these tips are up to personal preference.
Fact is you should only use the USB c that came with the switch, the switch charges at a slower voltage then the average device and has a slightly bigger USB c port made for a slightly bigger cord, by using a different cord you'll damage the battery and port in the long term.
Actually the joycon advice is good because the less you take off the JoyCons the more stable they are holding on the tablet. If you frequently take them off you'll notice that they aren't very stable.

instead of getting a smaller 3rd party dock get a smaller casing for you’re dock and take apart the dock, the actual tech inside of the dock is less than 1/4 the size of the normal casing, it’s really easy to transfer all the wires and the board to the small casing and it looks better if you want to display you’re switch while charging
This is the laziest tips video ever. As an example the skins tip is true, but dbrond found a working skin and that was ages ago, by now there are likely dozens of companies that have skins that work. Please use updated information.
@@PhanTum926 it was pretty big news. Big enough that he should atleast put an update in the notes. This us a perfect time to add: *UPDATE dbrand fixed the skins issue.
Instead of using skins, you can use shell replacements. I bought some pretty cheap handles for the pro controller and it's not an awesome black and green controller without causing it damage and I can always switch the original shells out with the ones I bought. Note: This does end the warranty on your products, so be mindful. Only do this if your warranty has already ended, you're confident it won't break, or if you know how to repair the product yourself.
Using skins doesn't void your warranty. Replacing the shells does. I've swapped my shells, so I agree with giving people the choice, but please don't leave out the vital issue regarding warranty being voided by doing so.
Like the base storage seems good enough for me, it seems like the 3ds and the switch just gets shadowed out by big console like Xbox and PS4, and it honestly makes me sad.

If everything is going digital there will definitely be less people playing. If you go physical you have the game and the console but going digital requires you to have internet and more storage that’s retarded.
Also, that part aged pretty badly because many PHYSICAL games will just straight up have this stuff on their boxes: “Internet connection and microSD card required.” Because the Switch has piss poor storage and cartridges are expensive as heck to manufacture, what many games ended up doing is just giving you the lowest possible storage cartridge and make you download… your physical game…

@Karen Berthel The issue was specific to Nintendo Switch. However, it's worth noting that DBrand recalled the products and gave all its customers a refund. Well, it's not really a recall but more like order cancellation coz the skins were still pre-orders. The issue with the adhesive is now fixed.

Ok, I want to actually give some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback:
Having only 1 switch account will not damage your console. It just limits to what you can get on the switch’s shop.
For using cheap plugs..... it depends on the plug. As you mentioned a certain brand. You can always use cheap plugs that are compatible with Nintendo devices.
“Don’t put skins on your devices.” :
Only SOME skins damage the joycons.
Ok... “don’t use boring usernames.”
This really has no effect on the console... it really just displays how a person would like to present themselves to the world...

Exactly just buy an SD card simple
