@@DjIdea lol when did scratch vinyl start doing this ? My battle wax from the 90's sure dont line up like this 🤔 .. it's been 20 years since I've had tables
Scratching vocals and cutting up dope verses is what is missing in hip hop right now. The DJ is one of the core components of the genre, but these days artists don't have a f'n clue about that. State of hip hop is really a joke currently, a shell of its former self. Reintroducing the DJ cutting and scratching in a track would go a long way in repairing it IMO.
That's because 99% of the new stuff is rap and *not* hip hop. I agree with you 💯% though. I've used scratching & vocal samples on several of my own songs!👍🏾🎤🎧📀🎶🔥
This Ricko from bama I just purchase that 7' inch. I really needed that tutorial I was wondering why I was off fro the beat I didn't know I had to make sure the record was going the same speed as the Looper. Thanks for that. U need to put out more in debt tutorials like that cause we don't have any scratch schools around here that can teach us that. Thanks for all of the tutorials MASTERMIND.
I was missing this Knowledge. Thank u very much dj idea I will practicing my question and answer skill with this tip. No wonder my kuts sounded off. Thanks again easy to understand 2.
@@DjIdea Man, i'd love to do that but the tonearm assembly cost $150 and that's how much I paid for the whole turntable. Oh well. The S shaped tonearm still work well. Thanks for the response. Some day I wanna see a Scratch Poop 12" with ultra pitch!
for those without bpm makers you will have to depend on your ear. I usually let go of the sample or phrase on the 1 count of the beat and letting it go to see if its on beat, if its too fast slow it down and release on beat again. if the sample is too fast speed it up little by little releasing the sample on beat. hope that helped
anttiskate this is for beginners. Some people getting into scratching may still not know to keep the samples on beat. Don’t worry bro we got more advanced ones comin.

you are right, thats why we push out new phrases and vocal samples in all of our records!
100% agree
In Polish hip hop some artists still continue it :) fortunately:) I can't live without scratches :)

How can I find the BPM of records that don't let you know the BPM? For example you say you press at 83.33bpm other ones dont specify.
