Awesome car Tyler! I can’t imagine how anybody can look at that car and not be impressed by it. Congratulations on a beautiful find I hope you can enjoy it for many years. This should become a permanent resident in your growing garage. All the best!
Older cars were so satisfying to work on due to simplicity. I had an old ‘64 Plymouth Fury with a 225 ci slant six. Replacing the water pump was a 30 min job. Replace the alternator was about 20 minutes.
just became aware of your channel through another one of your vids. Love the content. keep it coming! I’m living vicariously through your channel at the moment 😎
Bentley suggestion! I had a 1990 500SL with the Bosch fuel injection system, it had a stumbling and a misfire. I brought it to a mechanic I trust and he did a pressure check, because it is mechanical fuel injection system it is heavily dependent on pressure, so slight fluctuations can mess it up. He replaced the fuel pumps and the problem went away. That was after I put a new fuel distributor, injectors, idle air control valve, intake manifold gasket. It turned out to be so simple as a fuel pump.
Flatheads Forever! My first car was a 47 Ford coupe. I wanted a 54 Ford convertible with an OHV 6, but all my buddies were Flathead fans and pressured me to go with the Flattie. many more flatties followed, but I still think of the convertible I was shamed out of. Love the woodie. The perfect car for an old surfer living in SoCal.

This would be a good educational tool. I went to a high-school where we were learning aviation, and part of the curriculum was how engines work. I dig the yellow wheels..some Kidney bean Bonneville wheels would look amazing as well.
The 51' is beautiful
Had a 51 Woodie back in 68. Bought it to use as a demo derby racer. These things were a tank, the door weighed at least 70 lbs It was dark green and not as Cherry as yours but real nice. Couldn't bring myself to wreak it. Sold it to a bud. Oh crap my keyboard is spazeing out. I guess it's not tear proof. Thanks for the memories.
Lmao the wizard must love you. You're probably funding his whole life
He claims the wizard as a dependent! Love that old Ford!
I think every shop would love a Hoovie. Only one shop worthy of it tho so all the Hoovies are taken. I'd love a Wizard but I can't afford a hooptie fleet like that and all the wizards are taken too
This is one of the coolest videos you’ve done. For a mechanic like Wizard who has seen everything, to be amazed by that is pretty neat.
I love that Ford!!!
Awesome car Tyler! I can’t imagine how anybody can look at that car and not be impressed by it. Congratulations on a beautiful find I hope you can enjoy it for many years. This should become a permanent resident in your growing garage. All the best!
31 seconds later and I'm here
Older cars were so satisfying to work on due to simplicity. I had an old ‘64 Plymouth Fury with a 225 ci slant six. Replacing the water pump was a 30 min job. Replace the alternator was about 20 minutes.
11:30 - Single men when lockdown started.
One of the coolest cars you’ve bought so far Tyler. This reminds me of the old cars my grandpa used to restore.
9 views but 43 likes... seems legit
It’s the fbi or whatever
just became aware of your channel through another one of your vids. Love the content. keep it coming! I’m living vicariously through your channel at the moment 😎
Fantastic start of a single row V8! Never seen it! ...WOW -- nice to see the valves opening etc.
I met Vic Edelbrock Jr at the 2012 Sema show, he was really funny and a great guy.
Tyler it was so good to see a smile on your face. Most of the time your getting bad news . I do believe we saw sheer joy on your face. Oh btw that trick with the head removed was just sweet I had never seen that before
Hey Hoovie! Check your camera and render output. I'm seeing a bad jitter happening. A good example is around 7:57. Check your memory cards also. If they haven't been replaced in a while they might be wearing out and causing dropped frames. (Which is what this looks like.) Thanks for keeping us sane during the quarantine.
I like all his videos.. but this one struck my fancy as the favorite. From this ford is so much humble diversity.. it cannot even be laughed at.
Love the woody Tyler, keep adding videos. I had a Aston, when the battery got low it triggered all sorts of idiot lights etc. had a Jaguar XKR same thing. Invest in a hand held reader, especially if you keep buying BMW’s I owned a 740il if you farted in the seat it would trigger a warning light.
This would be a good educational tool. I went to a high-school where we were learning aviation, and part of the curriculum was how engines work. That would have been an excellent demonstration, and if you showed me that as a teenager, I think I would have been very enthusiastic about engines in general.
I for one am a huge fan of this woody project. I can't wait to see what happens next!
