@@dirg3music The problem with p!rat'd software for most people is trying to find a halfway trustworthy place to get it from that isn't gonna malware the shit out of your computer and skull f**k your whole system. Been thinking of this for Cubase 12 (i dont have the money for it because unfortunately i just shelled out over $400 for studio one 5 pro a few months ago). Cant afford another new daw now and turns and im not really vibing with S1. Especially since after the weak sauce version 6 upgrade dropped. It looks like the rumors that fender is gonna screw it up are looking to be true.
But The problem is I have nearly $3500 of software that I've actually paid for that I don't wanna put at risk. There are a lot of apps and files I'm sure to lose permanently if I had to set everything up from scratch again.
P.s. I'm the type of sorry Sap who would eventually purchase a license if I decided to keep using it anyhow. I like to pay people for thier work if they did a good job. Especially for smaller companies where the owners are the actual coders trying to make a living)

Nah that's not the updated review. I got the real review coming tomorrow or the day after most likely.
Basically a bunch of plugins into one. Feels like another tool for people with limited music knowledge or people that just want to get good sounds outright, but as with most things, it will get old quickly IMHO.
Definitely trash and won't stand the test of time... I still use Massive and Nexus I got in 2013, probably will still use em in 2040 off and on if I'm alive too

The idea has potential, but i think he rushed the plugin, I don't know if he was trying to tap into the black Friday sales or what. But waiting a little bit longer and fixing some of these issues would have done the plugin justice. Otherwise great review you were very objective with it

I was hating on Arcade at first but after trying it out and seeing the amount of content and updates I was like ok, so it's comparable to loopcloud and splice, which I like but didn't at first either.
I just don't see what they cld add to this to get anyone to subscribe and pay that much for it!

This is why the best producers/musicians collaborate with a high quality plugin company who knows what they're doing. Subscription model for a plugin is a bust.

Good review lol this is what I want from plug-in reviews honesty and tell me what is wrong with it.. not how incredible it is 😂 I like kyles content and some of his beats but his plugins need some serious work or better developers because they both have very bad UI problems
I feel like he’s been rushing with these two plugins. Like it takes a decent amount of time to fix bugs that will come throughout time. Rushing is what causes a lot of issues that could’ve been avoided.
The only plugin subscription model that's worth a damn imo is Kilohearts, and that's only because they give you a 100$ coupon back at the end of the year which allows you to upgrade to a perpetual license later on. I do see why people like arcade though, even if i dont personally. If you just want new presets to quickly use it seems pretty good for that.
Kilo hearts rules, top notch quality plugins and they have great customer service

It crashed every time I used it. I would open it, turn a knob or place a note down and then boom crash. And I have never had that experience with another plugin

You know what this plugin needs? it's a Dry/Wet knob so you blend between what you had before you insert this plugin on a channel

Kyle (and his products) are just a symptom of the real problem.
The problem is modern urban music is so rudimentary and non musical that it all sounds the same. Thus anyone can recreate it. He, and others like him, heard trap music, saw it’s popularity and created a channel and following that never elevates the genre or gives real respect to those who created it. Urban music is just a means to an end for him and many others who seek to cash in on “modern” wannabe producers who want one button solutions to achieve fortune and fame.
I disagree with the first part of “urban” music being non musical and sounding the same. That shows how out of touch you truly are which puts you in the same category as where you would put Kyle 🤷🏾♂️
You’re conflating 2 different things… music can be rudimentary and musical, complex and non musical, etc and it goes for ALL genres not just trap. While I do agree that todays music is mostly for public image and less about creating what you want to hear yourself, still doesnt take away from any genres, bad apples will exist in every corner of life

I was smart enough to know that he presented the annual price as what it *would* cost monthly, but others experienced confusion. Also is this made with Maize Sampler? Whenever I see a VST that HAS to be on the system drive, I get suspicious. Maize isn't worth the trouble of not having installers and hogging up the C drive. All those F'rs can F off. Dope VST, Thenatan, all these punks! It's 2022 for cryin' out loud!

i have about a 6 month old 3k studio laptop and 3 tracks of sandbox with randomized sounds is enough to start maxing my cpu its quite disappointing. it has a lota cool sounds and cool concept but the pitch was that i was going to be able to have like a bunch of tracks with sandbox and can essentially make almost a full song with one plugin of sounds. i think my laptop would catch on fire before 4 tracks of the plugin are on lol 1 already brings me to 30 to 60% cpu usage depending on the sound

For anyone using Ableton and struggling with music theory/wanting fresh ideas: just use Nordmann Chord generator. It's a free Maxforlive Device, and it's great, probably at least better than this for-pay plug-in.

Ever have lag using IZotope Iris 2? That's one of very few plug-ins that has patches that actually make my DAW stutter even with higher sampling rate. Some patches are straight up unplayable in real time and have to be frozen/bounced/resampled. Still a really interesting synth to me and we'll worth the $10 I paid for it.

In reason there is a plugin called scales and chords that’s really good for playing chords with one finger.... it’s dope I used it all the time.... it’s got pretty much every scale and you can pretty much play every chord.... if you know how to tweak it.... 💯🔥🔥🔥
