Surprisingly heavy story for "two guys going on vacation".
This was surprisingly more emotional than I expected.
RIP Porkins. Never got to see what he'd become after the war

@@beebopvroop5218 ima be honest, it was not as much fighter piloting as i would have expected, but it was a fun adventure into the lives of pilots off duty.
The visuals kinda reminded me of a 70's hallucination but given that Porkins was essentially developed in the 70's and the only movie he was in originally was Ep. IV it was kinda okay, also the whole plotline of two guys being on a resort island and having an adventure is very 70's.
I'd like to hear more engine noises and pew pew too tho.
@@therealslimshady3662 Maybe the guy who played Porkins (I use that term very loosely, saying as how he just tonelessly and often inaccurately read the lines) could do a better job of the 'booms' and 'pew pews' than he did with the character.

I bet *Alex* *Damon* is gonna get a kick outta this one! 🌟 I imagine the name of the "secret bar inside an asteroid" 'Biggs' spoke of is a nod to 'Mermeia' a.k.a. the 'Holographic Wow' from the original HOLIDAY SPECIAL. I love that this sorta brings her character into canon. Diahann Carroll's ghost would probably be pleased to know that.

Oof, well first up great job by the production team, voice actors and animators. Second seeing these comics by Marvel make me glad I'm saving my 3.99 from this because this was just bad.

this is so terrible. there is campy and fun, then there is this. total trash.
The story is bad enough, but the 'voice actors' are just flat out abysmal. Especially Porkins.

Get rid of whoever's doing Porkins....he can't even read his lines properly, let alone deliver them with any degree of believability.
The voice acting was the least of my concerns. What about the terrible story?!?
