- Urinary incontinence means a person leaks urine by accident. While it can happen to anyone, urinary incontinence, also known as overactive bladder, is more common in older people, especially women. Bladder control issues can be embarrassing and cause people to avoid their normal activities.

This is very valuable interesting information. I did not hear you mention my particular problem, though. Whenever I complain of this to doctors, they tell me "you're getting older". Or this comes with aging. So now I just don't tell them about it. It's easy to dismiss a patient's problem by telling them they are old.

Ow! After coming off of a urinary tract/prostatitis infection 1 week after a third biopsy two months ago. Some urinary with a bit of rectal incontinence still apparent with 8 weeks to the prostatectomy. I can barely hold one or the other, not both. The pelvic floor muscles not responding as I have to do the exercises with these before the operation. VA doctors are slow as there is a shortage of them here.

Day 35 of asking. Can you please make a video on, Varicocele, & Varicoceles after a vasectomy? I've got a varicocele it only showed up after my vasectomy.

Semi-related question. I saw my urologist a few weeks ago and she did a routine prostate exam and said it was small. I took that s good news and moved on. But later I wondered, is there such a thing as too small? If there is what sort of problems would that cause?

I've done the urodynamics test a few times. Not fun. I had 2 bladder diverticulum. They removed the large one and left the smaller one and also did a urolift. Now I'm taking mirabegron for overactive bladder. Will pelvic exercises help with this?

I wet my bed often when I sleep. I’m diabetic and 46 years old male. I have bed pads and stuff to protect mattress , but I wet the bed a couple times a week. How come I don’t feel it when I sleep. I’ll just wake up wet. My bed smells of urine
