Man these games are stressful but therapeutic at the same time
Great list man! Many people don't like these types of games, but I thrive on it. Hardest games are often the best, Bloodborne and Darkest dungeon are among my favourite games of all time! Grime would be on the list for me!
Hard games are the only games I play anymore as nothing else feels worthwhile (for the most part). Played Dark Souls 1, then Elden Ring, and now playing Bloodborne. All are excellent games! I played Cuphead before that and my only wish is that it was a bit longer.
No broken controllers yet, but I am also 42, so I have been through many situations that would make you much angrier than dying 1,000 times to a boss.

I've completed Returnal, i found the game really difficult for me personally. There were a couple of times i was going to give up, but i eventually got an ability on a weapon that i hardly used and it turned out to be what i needed to beat the game. Replicating Hits is the ability it's very useful especially against the final boss. Ninja Gaiden 2 like you said is a very challenging game. Probotector and Battletoads are very challenging games also.

@PlayHunters_ It's more of a case, if I own a game I like to give my best effort to complete it. Some of the games you mentioned I have in my backlog Darkest Dungeon,Styx Masters of Shadows,I have both Nioh and Nioh 2 but i've heard both are difficult games. I haven't played them yet but I also hear the Fear and Hunger games are very challenging also.
Sadly, 😢I never finished ninja gaiden 2. It was too hard for me and I was stuck at the boss of the second level.

@amitk4878 That was one of my favourite guns, but when I got Replicating Hits for the Thermogenic Launcher, that's when I finally beat the game.
i just got here, i hope games like SEKIRO and cuphead are not in this list, they just want You to learn how to play them, after You do u might die but u Will know what u did wrong and u Will succeed and enjoy
Strange why Elden ring is not on this list. Evil West and crash bandicoot 4 should also be in here. Very tough games. Lies of P too. Btw Returnal is indeed extremely hard.
After playing BM: Wukong i feel like im not as bad at that style of game and im thinking about giving Elden Ring a whirl after all
Ninja Gaiden 2/Sigma 2 is only really difficult due to enemy aggression and the camera contributing to a combination that is extremely frustrating. An example of the camera being terrible is against the statue boss in the first chapter. It has a laser attack that creates a line on the ground, then explodes, dealing damage if you're caught in it. The problem here is the camera is positioned behind Ryu, rather than up a bit so you can hardly see which direction the laser is going, leading to many times where I took damage not because I couldn't dodge, but because I couldn't dodge in the correct direction due to the camera being so low and in the way. It's a problem that has plagued Ninja Gaiden games since the original on XBOX. Sigma 1 isn't much better with it either.

Contra: Shattered Soldier for PS2 is one of the hardest games I’ve ever played. I would also argue that Ninja Gaiden on Xbox is harder than Ninja Gaiden 2. Just remember having a much more difficult time early on it the first one. And are you only talking about “normal” difficulty? Because I would say that Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die mode is harder than any Soulsborne game.
Sifu is not that hard tbh. I would add Super meat boy and Crash bandicoot 4 to the list
Tried lords of the fallen latest version and it’s one of the few games I quit. Game had no maps, the levels we’re so confusing, combats we’re fun and not that hard but running around for hours trying to find the end of the lvl drove me nuts. Not sure if you’d consider this as "hard" or boring but I havent quit on many games, this one was one.

The hardest games are ones very few people actually beat. Stuff like I Wanna be the guy, Super Meat Boy (dark world and cotton alley), Ikaruga, Punch Out, Ghosts'n Goblins, Battletoads, God Hand, Getting over with, and a few others. The games on your list are definitely hard but doable with patience and perseverance. The games I listed are damn near impossible for the average gamer to beat. Only a very select few people managed to beat these games. Oh, and I havent beat any of them either so its not like I'm bragging or something. I just know these games exist
@@87agomesi think this video is about well known games that are really hard, but they are fun because they're hard and it's possible for the average gamer to beat them and those games you mentioned are hard only for the sake of being hard and like you said, they are impossible for the average gamer to beat. I also beat all the newest fromsoftware games starting from Dark Souls 3 to Sekiro to Elden Ring and i didn't really find them as hard as people are saying they are, i remember some time ago that everyone was talking how dark souls was the hardest game of all time, but i'm really disappointed in ds3, i played it right after finishing elden ring dlc and ds3 has the same combat system and controls and everything like elden ring so it was really easy for me because i have 180 hours in ER, i beat the final ds3 boss first try, and that's when i really got disappointedy but they did make up for it in the dlc, the second dlc is impossible
@@walter-bijeliSecond dlc isn't that hard except for Midir. Elden ring dlc was the hardest content ever made.
