    I've been putting this off even though I've bought the belt , I've got other stuff to do ! I know it's a cheek but would you consider making and selling me one of those if you have the time or I'd be happy to hire it from you. I perfectly understand if you can't but thanks for showing us this it's really useful and you only need it once in a blue moon I guess. Mine was replaced in 2013 so possibly due any time soon.

    A beam style torque wrench could work if you got the space.

    Very nice video, I am struggling the same way, would you be so kind to share the specs so I can replicate the tool? thank you very much!

      Hi Julio, So pleased it helped you, certainly helped me at the time. A subscriber in Scotland asked if he could borrow the tool for his 1150GS so I sent it to him and told him just to pass it on to anyone else who asked. You have to get yourself some 13mm Hex steel. I just bought some on eBay. Cut it to about 30mm and drill a hole approx 15mm deep. Think I used a 7.5mm drill. Cut the thread with an 8mm tap and you have your tool. I presume you are in Spain or Mexico or Argentina or anywhere in the world🤣. I still have the Hex bar on my shelf and would make one for you, no cost at all, but the posting can be difficult?? Depending where you live. Let me know if you need help.

    surely a 8mm threaded bar connector with an a 8mm bolt inserted in one end would achieve the same purpose

    Hope your well. Do you no what torque the front axle should be on the gs1200 2005 ?

      @normski3091  2 года назад +1

      Haynes Manual for 2004-2009 GS says 50nm for front axle bolt and the front axle clamp bolts are 19nm. Hope that helps James 🤗

      Wish I could take a picture and add it here but RUclips doesn’t let me. If you go to the Wheels section at the start of that chapter it has all the technical information. Look for torque settings and front axle bolt is there. 👍
