Good for practicing picking, string skipping and many other techniques applied. Transcription was hard in some parts but i think is good enough, same with tone. You'll probably have troubles with the string skipping part and some others. Remember to practice slowly until you get there. Song is riff based with a chorus that presents more functional harmony. Song is in F# Minor
I'm curious why you say it's in F# while you proceed to play no F#s
Usually when you transport an instrument, you still refer to the E as "E" and so on, so it's easier to understand

@@blitheringape5321 lol yeah if the world was about right and wrong its E factor for drop tuning . drop tuning is a little hard at first but soon you will have to learn it . lots of great bass lines i drop D . DROP C 3 is even more fun lol chug chug .
It's not very often (sadly) that you have a song in rock/metal thats bass driven. The first time I heard this, I was instantly hooked cuz of the bass. This song definitely goes beast mode BECAUSE OF THE BASS

Parallel mage You're talking about the bassist from Liz Zeppelin right? During Meliora the bassist was a male, she joined only recently. You can tell based on the change in costume design for her.

Out of all the bands that have come out over the past 10-ish years, this is definitely in my top 3 songs for bass. It's heavy, groove-ey, up and right up front. I love bass players like that.

Does somebody know how did he manage to get his bass to sound like that? The tone is identical to the one on the record. I was thinking about buying a bass but I’m still a newbie so explanations would be helpful :)
it's a mix of knowing how to develop tone with fingers and good audio production, correct mixing, plugins, etc. The finger part is quite important really

hi unless i am mistaken i seem to hear and see you playing on the low d the 3rd note as g try half step up . i tried to listen to a few versons and i hear`the 3rd note a half step higher. g sharps so 3 whole steps . might be intonation but it would be way off it i was . might be my ear` lol.

i know you put chords as if the song was in e standard to avoid your followers being confused with note locations but are you going to continue that when you implement score into your videos? like if the key is c in e standard but tuned down to d standard to make it b flat will you score it as b flat or will you score it to keep the theme of preserving note location? (sorry if this doesnt make sense i can rephrase it if need be)......i was just wonderin

just a muting strap. Usually used for playing on high register or tapping, things like that. It avoids high resonance of strings
