@@gruggedup9083 Imagine this line of Kieran in Horizons...Liko would explode in terror of the side character being aware of her status as hero of the story.
I love this direction for Kieran so much more than possession. He actually is responsible for his own behavior and came to terms in it in a healthy way, rather than "evil peach took over his brain and now he evil, beat him up to make him good again." Having been to every region, I genuinely think SV has the best writing of any Pokémon game. Some interesting ideas, lots of simple ones, but all executed well. It's difficult to beat the novelty of LA's setting or the worldbuilding afforded by BW2's timeskip, but as a complete story I think SV and its DLC manages to take the cake.
I've never understood why so many people seemed to want Kieran to be possessed. It's like people just wanted him to just be the innocent cute and shy little kid that he appeared to be at the beginning of Teal Mask and didn't like the idea of him being responsible for his actions later on. (The theory also just doesn't make sense. When could Kieran possibly have been possessed? When he punched the shrine? But he was still being aggressive in the scene just before that.)
@@Robin_GlorbI don’t think it’s because of that, I think it’s because the evidence surrounding that theory made sense to a lot of people. Im gonna be honest not entirely happy with how it ended. Not cause i necessarily dislike it but cause i feel like a lot of people are gonna hate Keiran now 😓. I get the way his character played out wish it was a tiny bit different but aw man i have a bad feeling about how people will react. Also bruh ain't noway briar getting Scott free 💀. Like gurl you led a child to- no multiple children into danger. Like please tell me there's some indication to her getting punished. Edit: huh guess I was wrong. Good :3. Also after thinking about it these children are stro ger than adults lol so I guess it wasn't too bad. Still careless, yes Geeta talking about you too.
I dunno, I mean, people still love Zinnia, and she was just as bad. She joined Team Magma/Aqua and helped them achieve their goals knowing full well they’d fail and cause a natural disaster that might destroy all of Hoenn, just so she could bank on Rayquaza coming in to stop it, and use that chance to warn it about the meteorite hurtling toward earth. But it never showed up, so she just shrugged that off. If you weren’t there to stop them, Hoenn would’ve been doomed. So when that didn’t work out, her next bright idea was to run around the region beating everyone up stealing everyone’s Key Stones, refusing to give any explanation for her actions, acted vague and smug the entire time, and only tells you the player at the last second once she finally gets what she wants. She refuses to accept anyone else’s plans to save the world, too, like when she talks back to Steven and crushes his device rather than talk things out first. And despite that, her plan failed too. Rayquaza never showed. Only reason why Hoenn was saved was because the player happens to have a meteorite with Mega energy in this bag to feed Rayquaza. That’s way worse than what happened with Kieran. Zinnia was made out to be dislikable from the start outside of some vague backstory she spills at the that she never elaborates on, while Kieran at least has a more down-to-earth, visible progression for why he went bad. If people hate on Kieran like this, they might just be hypocrites if they’re one of the tons of fan that love Zinnia.
She said she had to contact Geeta, which suggets having to pay consequences for her actions....but she says she needs to secure a publisher first, showing she's not changed THAT much after this experience. :P
Well this is going to be a long run for me *sigh* I regret not even finishing the Teal Mask, though I am happy to see Kieran finally making peace with everything again
It did catch it, but just because the masterball can catch it doesn't mean we can automatically control them, that's what we exactly see here, the pokemon still have the free will to follow the order of its trainer or not. Cogita also said to us in legends Arceus that Legendary pokemon choose to be with us, and it looks like this terapagos Didn't choose kieran? That's just sad...the cutscene is still shocking tho
This is amazing, terapagos is transformed! All intros (openings) in pokemon games (1996-2023) + The Teal Mask & The Indigo Disk All ending + credits in pokemon games (1996-2023) + The Teal Mask & The Indigo Disk
terapagos being strong enough to break the master ball that it got caught it while keiran was trying to return it. so this things power is more op than god itself
Hmmm not really dude, canonically Arceus was never caught, in Legends he grants you a fragment of himself. Plus, he's infinitely weaker, since his power was split between Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, the three pixies, and many other forms of Arceus split throughout the multiverse
For the most part my intrigue with the lore surrounding Area Zero has made me a bit disgruntled that the majority focus was what carried over with the Kitakami story drama with Kieran moreover getting to the bottom of Terapagos and how it does what it does. But I guess the Crystal Lake scene with Terapagos sort of makes up for some of that just a teeny-tiny bit since i still have some lingering questions- or rather curiosity
Personally, I quite liked how they concluded with this but I can understand why some people are disappointed because I wholeheartedly agree the execution could have been better with Kieran but at the same time, I personally found his character very fascinating alongside his story. Secondly, I don’t know why people thought that Terapagos’ true form would be bigger like, I get the overall dissatisfaction but not everything has to be monstrous and massive considering I think Terapagos is already a very fascinating Pokemon. Kieran‘s conclusion could have been better but despite that, I really love his character personally!!! 😌😁
A lotta people are like IT BROKE THE MASTER BALL!?!? When it’s literally just another tool to catch Pokémon. It’s the catch rate that matters about the master ball structurally it’s nothing special
I get why people would want the paldea crew to come back for the DLC, but in my opinion it is best to leave them where they are Of course i would love more stuff about Nemona Arven and Penny, but the idea of having the conclusion of a base character locked behind a DLC doesn't sits well with me, remember not everyone has the money to afford a 35$ DLC, or even the will to considering they didn't improve much of the base game problems :/ Besides, we had more spotlight to give to Kieran and Carmine, and they probably wouldn't be as loved as they are if they had to share game time with 3 other characters, that technically already had their character arc closed(besides Arven, that poor boy is destined to stay traumatized 😭)
Yeah, the DLC was Kieran and Carmine’s (mostly Kieran’s) story with us. It would’ve felt congested if the paldea crew was with us. As much as I like them

He broke A MASTER BALL and he suck the Tera-orb energy like a vampire - the stellar Tera-type catch my interest cuz I though it was the 19th type. - Kieran's redemption are the proof even in darkness the light is still here. - for nostalgic fans this return to Unys are still good - the BB elite 4 are pretty good (I like Drayton and Lacey) I'll have to bring a bazooka against Terapagos cuz his defense are huge. I think the next game could be legend pokemon Kyurem and I rather this one instead of a soulless and brainless remake like Shining pearl. When the only feasible ways to win the fight involve cheese (FEAR, Toxic, abusing it's AI) you've made a terrible fight.
Don't be fooled into believing that the Ultra Necrozma fight is good, it's poorly designed trash.
@@AceAviations2counterpoint: it’s visually sick and it’s fun

He has a point, Necrozma is way too strong, and a fight that requires cheese to win isn't well designed.
Kieran might be my favourite character! He is one of the the best Written at least
8:11 Call me crazy, but I'm going to make it my head cannon that this is how the professors actually died.
Yeah that would be sick
I still believe that since i started to read pokemons description such as duskull line, shedinja, thundurus and lugia. I think many professors ( and kids too ) died trying to get all info on that pokemon and put it in the pokedex
I don’t think child endangerment or child labor laws exist in Pokémon

Only if it's in Stellar form tho
I know right, I get a flashback of Leon catches an Eternatus but it fails.
It did catch it, but just because the masterball can catch it doesn't mean we can automatically control them, that's what we exactly see here, the pokemon still have the free will to follow the order of its trainer or not. bro caught terapagos in a beast ball
terapagos being strong enough to break the master ball that it got caught it while keiran was trying to return it. so this things power is more op than god itself
What questions
Can I just say, that Gen 9 is probably at the top 3 in terms of music, no debate.
I like that they hinted at Kieran having a master ball when the elite four gives you a masterball for becoming champion
I really wish Terapagos could shift to every type of Pokémon, along with having a phase for each type, kinda like Nyx Avatar from Persona 3.
Wholeheartedly agreed
People thought terapagos is suppose to get bigger based on heath’s drawing where it’s final form is as large as planets

I get why people would want the paldea crew to come back for the DLC, but in my opinion it is best to leave them where they are
Of course i would love more stuff about Nemona Arven and Penny, but the idea of having the conclusion of a base character locked behind a DLC doesn't sits well with me, remember not everyone has the money to afford a 35$ DLC, or even the will to considering they didn't improve much of the base game problems :/
Besides, we had more spotlight to give to Kieran and Carmine, and they probably wouldn't be as loved as they are if they had to share game time with 3 other characters, that technically already had their character arc closed(besides Arven, that poor boy is destined to stay traumatized 😭)
Yeah, the DLC was Kieran and Carmine’s (mostly Kieran’s) story with us. It would’ve felt congested if the paldea crew was with us. As much as I like them
