- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.

The professors holding a Masterball as its shaking because hes knows that its a 100% chance of capture and showing that trainer that hes that powerful is so RAW
I'm gonna guess that he used the machine to capture a random pokemon from the future.

I love the implication of the battle. That A) Masterballs have become more common over time (which makes perfect sense, it was one of a kind years ago, but now this machine can spam them) and B) He's literally just grabbing random future Pokemon (caught right then) and determining how to use them on-the-fly to prove the superiority of the future (which is why OG Turo seemed to believe they should be allowed to wipe out the current Pokemon, because they were better, so of course he programmed the AI to operate under that same faulty assumption).
@@binks5215 They aren’t more common, people just don’t mass produce them. Not sure why but I assume that it’s because of the morality of catching a Pokémon in a Pokéball that they can’t escape from.

Maybe the tera crystals are able to be used in mass production of master balls and that the buildings right outside the labs are actually master ball factories

I was very impressed by the minor details they put on the character model of AI Turo. Like how his clothes move but his person doesn't move much; he's stiff like a statue which makes sense as he is actually an android. His facial expressions are somewhat uncanny, but in the final scene when he bid you adieu I feel like it's a lot more expressive.
If you compare it to AI Sada in Scarlet, she is a lot more expressive and her model isn't stiff like a statue. Perhaps the original Sada cared enough to put in these minor details in the android body whilst Turo did not. Or maybe it is partly the idea/view that a mother is more gentle and caring and is therefore more expressive; whilst the father is more stern and strict and therefore less expressive and more imposing. Regardless, it makes their characters a bit more distinct from each other rather than being just a mirrored copy.
i figured it was because sada cares about the past, so she's more concerned about nature. so she was probably why she was a bit more attentive on her AI's body. turo, meanwhile, cares about the future so he probably finds it more efficient (or he thought it was neat idk) to skimp out on those details.

This was one of the fewest times a pokemon plot has made me want to break out in tears. Poor Arven 😭
It’s also canon that both the professors of the games are his parents so while went and died the other couldn’t handle the research and straight chose to abandon him

I'm honestly more impressed by the environment than anything else. That diamond-esque wall and floor is fucking amazing!
Designs and graphics really improving who know where it will go from here.
Reminds me of transformers war for cybertron, that game. All the polished black chrome and tron lines.
shit n64 games did way before like turok 2. its not impressive. this is just a boring ass empty room.

The bit at 1:16 where the alarm starts blaring and Turo/Sada walks towards the centre of frame really gives me chills. Not to mention just after that when a Master Balls falls back through the time machine still in the process of catching a Pokemon.

yeah i actually shed a tear. i could not put the game down once i got to the end game. stayed up till 3 AM just because i had to see how it ended
@@miashaffery same here and that’s what also made it great. The fight wasn’t a simple breeze if you had underleveled mons it was straight HELL
I loved it as a Black and White fan. This game, like Black and White for dreams, had a theme and saw it through: finding what you treasure. And this finale concludes with that theme.
The final boss is someone who was unable to pursue what they treasure, and the ending finally sees them freed to seek it by people who have found their treasures.
Quick reminder: gen V has past and future themes. You can see it with opelucid city.
This gen also has a legendary quartet...
No I'm not expecting a remake soon wtf.
Pokemon games are becoming more realistic on the story aspect. Man it really hurts thinking of Arven and what would be going through his mind. If executed correctly this could be one the most emotional arcs in the anime.
They're straight up becoming more like anime and JRPG storylines
The fact that there are cutscenes in mid battle makes this game go to a whole new level
I hope that Gamefreak can discover voice acting in the next 10 years...

Until you lose and have to replay all the cutscenes over again because you can't skip then on a freaking 2022 game
They already did that in Sword and Shield, BDSP, and Legends Arceus
When I reach this part I was so confused when some of my fire type moves weren't super effective, those designs really tricked me.
All of them have "Iron" in their names but not all of them are steel types. Pretty clever indeed.

Same as the False Titan Dragon (not the Sushi). I thought that Fish was Dragon Water type, but end up just pure water type)
The ttar got me good, I used torch song even though my skeledirge had earth power right there that would have definitely OHKOed.

I actually said this as a joke, when the trailer came out. I can't believe I was correct.
But it wasn't his fault. It was the machine that took over him.
And he warned you about the possibility of that happening, and even said that he thought you'd be able to defeat him, like a true gigachad he is.

Sada’s version feels more like a dino crisis story. Time machine with the dinosaurs transferred to the present:time machine that transferred ancient pokemon to the present. It is scarier if you ask me.

Like I get the future. There’s new things to discover. The idea of Dino time is cool and scary. Just not logical outside of she really wants to study the past.
So much so that she’d give it up for her child. Sada ends up seeming more selfish then Turo and it’s not necessarily the writings fault more so the themes.
@@pineapple3798 i guess prof. Sada thought that the past beings are superior to present beings. Take roaring moon for example, it is stronger than the regular salamence, stat distribution wise. Although i can not completely justify her goal of bringing past beings to the present, i can understand some of the superiority.

First Pokémon game to make me actually kind of sad. I don’t get sad over a lot of things, but this Is just wonderful
Black/White and Sun/Moon had a good story too, they also make you feel a lot for the characters

Tbf it’s a pretty good way to help. People in grief can tend to forget to actually take care of themselves and eating is a pretty good way of figuring out your emotions too

You could tell he really didn't want to fight you, but his code forced him too. I love Scarlet/Violet. In my opinion they have the best end to the main story.
Something I don't see a lot of people mention is the fact that even when you have his team on the ropes, according to him, "it's all going according to plan."
I don't know about you, but if I'm fighting someone and had a struggle-filled battle, finally getting them cornered, but then they say it's all going to plan while completely calm?

What's even more cool/epic about this fight, is if you wait after Arven says how its unfair that we can't battle when our Pokeballs are locked, if you wait long enough trying to find a way to send 'someone' in your party out, Miraidon/Koraidon call out to you 'before' they start glowing etc i believe, as if calling to you to get your attention, wanting to help you fight!
Easily the best ending in any pokemon game

It's honestly scary that both professors (depending on your version) we're so damn fixated on the time machine and bringing past/future pokemon that they literally put in a failsafe in case anyone tried to shut it off. That failsafe being the ai. So had the ai version of them never left the machine would continue to stay online. Hell! You know you've gone mad when the AI you made even says "even I can't understand why they would continue this path"
I absolutely love this game. The ending literally made me emotional 😭

according to the real professors, humans cannot return back to present from the time machine, so they sent back robots that have their memories instead to fix this problem.
however, the ai understands the dangers of the pokemon of the past/future which killed the real professors, so they try to shut the time machine down to stop the paradox pokemon to infiltrate the world.
they are hard coded by real professors to keep the machine running, hence they fight the player unwillingly as a "security process", then went to the past/future to permanently shut the machine.
God I wish I could experience this fight for the first time again.

This and the theme that plays when you encounter Arceus give you the feeling that you encountered something beyond your reach. Truly amazing.
I'm just glad I picked Violet because battling GIGACHAD was so damn great and yes, this has most be the greatest story of all gen but is even sad

Arguably one of, if not the most, emotion-invoking Pokémon games ever
This time machine idea imagine using it to travel to Hisui to save Ingo, or seeing legends unfold too like Mega Rayquaza's original battle with Primal groudon and kyogre etc.

Problem is that as stated earlier in the game, humans cannot go back from it.
it's stated that once you go back or beyond, there's no going back. unless probably if you have Dialga or Celebi

Sada definitely went back millions of years in the past, the Hisui games happens at a maximum of 300 years in the past.

I've just beaten this game and now I'm in shambles. All gameplay issues aside, the story is a piece of art.
It took them years to finally put another Pokémon game with a perfect epic ending. Last time was with Black and White 2 (and I kinda liked Sun and Moon ending too, but felt rushed)
A lot of endings in Pokemon games are great, but I think scarlet and violet did it best with the ending, I like the change of ending your adventure a different way rather than just becoming champion

I loved every part of this ‘post-game’ in Area Zero. Can’t lie, I chose Violet specifically cause I was down bad for Turo, and this arc of the game really had me feeling all sorts of emotions it was crazy (and i haven’t felt this way about games these days in quite a while). Super in love with the story of the game and just how hype everything was here. I can only imagine how much more epic it’d be with voice acting 😭
This story was amazing, the turo fight was a really fun test of strength for me, and the miraidon vs miraidon was really cool. This was an amazing way to finish this amazing game!

This game made me love Miraidon so much, it's so cool and the jet engine on its legs are so badass, also it's a robot with emotions, isn't that cute?
Koraidon is awesome too, but since I picked Violet, I get to bond with Miraidon, i love this adorable robot bike lizard.
I have Scarlet version and when I reach this part of the game, I found it to be an amazing plot twist.
How could would it have been if Lusamine also used a team of six ultra beasts ? (followed by a totem Nihilego fight against herself)
You know this my first Pokémon game I actually finished..and I will say I’m happy with this ending and game.
The atmosphere of this final fight where the AI professor just sits up there and drops master balls to the battle is, INTENSE to say the least.
Say what you will about the original Professor, but they ABSOLUTELY did not mess around when they thought up their defense system for the time machine. If you think about it, it also shows that they had SOME sense of mercy left too; they could've used the Paradise Protection Protocol at any time to basically turn the effort to stop the machine into a glorified execution (seriously, if more villains/antagonists thought to have targeted Poke Ball-locking measures on hand, the world would be a much grimmer place), but they save that as an absolute last resort if the other defenses and contingency plans failed.
And funnily enough, the only thing that screwed up their plan post-mortem was ironically their one definite moment of kindness - sacrificing themselves for the player's Paradox dragon companion. If they hadn't done that, it wouldn't have met the player and become the one thing they can use to counter the Paradise Protection Protocol's final stage.

So Gehtsis used to be my favorite final boss, which its still great dont get me wrong but I was utterly blown away by how cool and emotional this was.
Finally, I can see more of the AI of the deceased hunk
19:46 it’s sad to think that the professor is going to try to “live” his dream, but unless the future is surrounded by terastilzed energy, the AI can’t function and he essentially dies twice.
Considering Turo goes to far future, there might be a way for humans of those times to find a way to help him, even without Terastalization Energy. Still, that's just a probability, not a certainty
ngl, asides from the graphics, this game may be one of my favorites of all time, I can only imagine how good it would've been if they got one extra year to polish it
This truly is an amazing game. One of the best storylines ever. And the part when our koraidon or miraidon finally built the courage to transform into its battle form was awesome.

This battle against someone who happens to be an AI version of the real Turo is rather suprisingly epic actually. 🔥🔥🔥
I love how in the first battle, Turo "hands" the Pokeball to the POV. Really ups the "robotic" feeling
In the story, Sada/Turo emphasised that he is low on manpower, but he/she could not trust anyone to both have the ability and the trustworthiness to continue his research in Area Zero.
Hence he/she created the AI copy of him/herself and worked with that instead.
But in the end, the existence of the Paradise Protection Protocol that was kept as a secret from even his/her AI, showed that in the end Sada/Turo has grown so paranoid he/she couldn't even trust his/her own AI copy, and to an extend not even him/herself.
Which, to be fair, the AI also renegaded and tried to stop him/her from destroying Paldea with his/her crazy plans.
This battle and final part of the story was so good I already want to play it again, and i literally just finished it a couple days ago

This part is genuinely incredible, it just feels sad the best sections of the game are the last ones.
It really feels like most of the game could have felt as polished and incredible as this if it had gotten more development time.
Man discovering he was dead shocked me, I tought like he had a secretary robot clone, but god when he told he was dead PLUSSS they gave us a option telling where is the second professor. Like man, the professor literally all this time where Dead.

Probably the most scary thing in this scene isn’t the ai Professer, it’s the fact that our Pokémon are literally unable to battle
f you look closely the AI prof's "so proud of you" speech is not generalized to the entire group. the prof is actually addressing each character's qualities individually - the camera is panning to each member of the group in each part of her speech. Also, in Nemona's part the AI is using the word "better yourself" and not "yourselves".
Dang, i thought the AI Turo battle would involve them jumping into the time machine and arrived in the future and continued the fight there.

Best story with one of the Best soundtrack pokemon. This fight and story have actually hit me even harder than Cynthia's garchomp and volo's giratina xd i love this its one of my favorite one ever on the top of the mountain with legend arceus and pokemon black and white/2
I enjoyed the fight because i have no clue what types my opponent’s pokemon has. Made me sweat a little.

This was the first Pokemon game i have ever played and i just finished it. Cool little game.

Now that I can grasp the details of the story, imagine how much more tragic it would've been (for Arven) if instead the appearance of the game version's professor was just a visual illusion and they actually built the AI's true appearance as other "version's professor" instead of a replica of themselves. Despite differences between each game, I figure Arven would still be Turo & Sada's kid.
The one thats not the professor probably died long ago after his birth or something, before the professor dies via the accident since Arven in each game only recalls having just one parent throughout early childhood. Would be wild finding out your parent died from an AI that was designed to look like the other parent you never met.
The one that's not the professor left shortly after Arven was born. If you read the books in the research labs on the way down it gives a little insight to the professor as a character before their death

@BladedShard Unfortunately it only says they left. The running theory is that they probably did because their spouse was to absorbed in their research. Dunno why they'd leave Arven though...

This was an amazing reference to Star trek TNG episode 2x06 "the schizoid man".. where the old scientist transfers himself into Data to survive. 2nd best storyline in a mainline pokemon game for sure

The last hour of this game is better than the first 30 hours combined. I wish they had been given the time to put this much love into the rest of the game. Fuck gamefreak. A very bad company with a few really passionate, talented game creators.

Even though this game may have had its faults, the story was absolutely fantastic! What happened to Professor Turo/Sada truly was truly heartbreaking. Such a wonderful ending though ❤
DLC might focus on the "other" parent who walked off after arven was born

My fav part about this fight is seeing “Iron” and going “oh this is steel” and then being wrong each time
The fun part about this is that we are always Fighting AIs in battles but this emphasizes that fact
