- The search is over for the man who allegedly opened fire on a California highway in a road rage incident, killing a 6-year-old boy strapped into his booster seat. Prosecutors say Marcus Anthony Eriz, 24, and his girlfriend Wynne Lee, 23, are being held on one $1 million bail. Lee is accused of driving the car while Eriz allegedly fired a gun, killing little Aiden Leos who was being driven to kindergarten by his mother in May. #InsideEdition

Anyone saying “they didn’t know” doesn’t understand clearly that the dude literally grabbed his gun and shot her car. Nobody does that unless they snap easily and snap on a new level. Most of us try to race away or slow down and cuss to ourselves. This dude shot her car. That’s lunacy. And ballsy to think nothing would become of it- whether he wanted to scare her or kill the boy. Looks like he spends some time at the shooting range to know what he was doing. He’s guilty to me regardless what he thought.
I just hope everyone stays safe and doesn’t engage in road rage. It’s easy to do when the world seems like it’s spitting out asylum patients but really. Protect your family and yourself.
You might be misunderstanding what people mean when they say he didn't know. They're not saying he's not guilty, they're suggesting as a matter of fact that he didn't intentionally murder a child, even though he still did and is guilty of it. In other words, he may not have known there was even a child in the car. As you said, he is a practiced shooter, if he wanted to kill he might have aimed up through the window. Instead he shot the back of the car below the window into the trunk. Again, still inexcusable and crazy to pull a gun out, but the murder itself doesn't immediately seem intentional.
I am surpised he spent time at a shooting range his act was wreckless, he diffently didn't mean to kill a kid but did intend harm. He a mosnter and deserves to go to prison

No parent should ever have to bury their child before them. My friend and her young sister were both killed in a car accident nearly 2 years ago, the younger sister survived but died weeks later on her 16th, I can't describe the pain their dad went through and is still going through, you can hear so many emotions in her voice :(

@@steelisthemeal it was very rough, he (the father) had only 2 daughters and one half son, they had gone out at night and went down a hill, there were people there to help despite it being at night/the next morning, my friend was killed instantly and her sister suffered great injuries, she had nearly all of her limbs amputated and the decision to let her be with her older sister was the only way to let her be in peace, this situation was made even worse when money and personal items of both the father and older sister were taken, thankfully they were returned.
Although they caught the people responsible, that still doesn't change the pain that they have left in peoples hearts 😢

This unfortunate event has helped me even more to control myself while driving since I also have a little boy, even younger than Aiden. I just let people be and I don’t make hand gestures or retaliate by cutting people off. None of that fixes anything, it only opens the door for atrocities
I 120% agree with u. It’s just not worth confronting anyone on the road nowadays. My father has told me this countless times to which I regrettably hav failed on occasion in the past. I guess I was just lucky then that I didn’t encounter anyone with a fragile ego and a firearm.

When you shoot a gun indiscriminately at car you know has people in it, murder is a likely outcome. There’s no excuse that will work. That would also be an insanely stupid defense. The cars aren’t bulletproof either.

Simply branishing a firearm at any vehicle is grounds for pretty hefty charges by itself. Rule number 3 of firearm safety: Don't point guns at things you don't intend to destroy. By shooting at the car, he essentially gave the intent that he planned on harming the occupants. There's no getting out of it for him.

They knew what type of car it was and what model years it could have been and what color it was, they looked at dmv records to see people who owned that car in those model years and color that lived in orange county and LA County , they painstakingly went record by record looking at everyone that owned those cars and they eventually found some possible suspects with the help of cell phone records, social media records, and so on. With surveillance they eventually see the bad guy doing something weird or stupid that points him out to detectives. Like the suspect not driving the car any longer....
They offer out enough money they can catch any criminal.
