Fr, I couldn't find any GTA 3 crack that had the music's because everyone would remove them to make the game more compact, and considering that the only way to play GTA 3 without it looking like ass is by piracy because they removed the original from steam and there's only the definitive ass left. So I don't even know how the tracks are, tbh I played all the GTA games and only San Andreas had only good music, vice city was looking for out of touch and Micheal Jackson n GTA 4 was looking for wanted dead or alive
GTA III's radio stations have their own flavor (for lack of a better word) that isn't quite present in any of the following games. Since the soundtrack was mostly composed of underground, unpopular, and/or non-mainstream music, it gave it this cool, exotic quality that makes it stand out.

msx fm actually got me into jungle (specifically msx98 fm but both were good) and that eventually got me into dubstep then hardstyle then a bunch of other electronic music genres
The K-JAH one cracked me up. So glad to see GTA III getting some love in the meme game. The most revolutionary game of the series and as some of said, had some of the best music too. Great mix of music written specifically for the game and song like the ones from Scarface on Flashback or older ones on Double Clef.
As someone who played GTA III growing up on the Playstation, the radio stations don't get talked about enough. One of the most legendary sets from GTA games over the years.
My brother actually used to put music in the mp3 player folder. I have some fond memories of watching him play games. Discovering the music I had listened to all those years back was actually his own is a nice reminder of the good old days.
Rise FM got me into Trance, MSX got me into Drum & Bass, Double Cleff FM made me get into a lot more classical opera music, and KJAH got me into dub. So many memories with III, never gets old.
When you remember this game only features 9 radio stations, and one is just a talk show 5,6 or little more songs in each radio, and you have to get use to the infinity loop of them, and how Rockstar didn't add a Rock, Grunge, Metal radio station is beyond comprehension.

I didn't grew up with GTA 3 but I ended up with 3 full playthroughs on the Definitive Edition trying to get the platinum trophy. Driving the Banshee on Staunton Island while listening to Rise FM at night is a wierd but soothing vibe. There's something unique in seeing the Unreal Engine 4 lighting at night clashing with the PS2-like models.
@@OutlawedPoet Nope on the patches. It is still bright and sunny. But I wasn't too worked up on it since it was my first full GTA 3 experience that aren't short clips. Plus, I played it for free (it was on PS Now for that month only, which motivated me to get all trophies).
