- Hello Friends! I am so excited to share today’s video! It is a My Big Tidy Up on the go! This was a huge declutter and organize! I actually think it was probably the biggest declutter and organize I have ever done and I did it in a place I’ve never done before, a classroom! It was a huge closet clean out and closet declutter! I used a lot of different organizing and storage containers and after nine hours, we got the job done! I hope this gives you tons of motivation to organize, declutter and minimize your spaces, no matter where they are!

Hi DeDe, boy does this bring back memories! I taught 1st grade for 11 years and many of those items are similar to what I used. You’re so right! Teachers spend so much extra time and money on making learning fun and accessible to every kind of learner. This transformation looks awesome! I bet she was so appreciative. Looks so good!! Wonderful job for a wonderful cause! 💖 My mom was a teacher, and she would switch up between 1st-3rd grade every few years. I remember having to help her move classrooms.

Great to help her! As a retired teacher, I can confirm that teachers spend lots of their own money on materials/supplies. Additionally, when changing classrooms it’s usually done during the summer - unpaid time. I know teachers who had to change classrooms frequently.

Hi Dede another wonderful job you have done. I have just been through my husbands storage/shed , since his passing, thank goodness he wasn’t a hoarder but I did get rid of quite a bit, luckily for me the retirement village where we live is starting a men’s workshop so I was able to donate most of it. I have good and bad days I know it will take awhile to come to terms with living on my own i have a great support team behind me. We were married 60 years. 💕

I’ve been doing daycare in my home for 17 years. There is so many items that I don’t use or forgot that I have them. This gives me inspiration to go through my cabinets!

@@MyBigTidyUp You did a fantastic job! I use to be such an organizer, well I still am in my own home. But friends and family members would love when I went to their homes because they would ask if I could help them straighten something up or help them organize their home. I would love to help people have a nice area and a more organized area. It made me feel so fresh and accomplished. Now I’ve had a couple back surgeries so I can’t help other people anymore. But I love to see others do it. I can’t live in a mess. I have some anxiety issues and when I’m in a disorganized space, I get this very anxious feeling like I need it to be cleaned up and organized. Do you understand what I mean?? 🤷♀️

@ButtercupCreations oh yes ma’am I completely understand about anxiety, and when my home is a mess! When my home is in order, even if everything else is chaotic, I feel at peace. I don’t like clutter. I don’t like having to navigate around it. Organizing is my happy place! It feels calming to me! You have found a kindred spirit I can assure you! I am glad you found me and I don’t know if you do Facebook or Instagram but I am over there as well. I try to share inspiration, humor, and sometimes folks send me photos of projects they’ve done and so it’s fun to see everyone else’s, organizing or decorating ideas. if you don’t have Facebook or Instagram, no worries I just wanted to invite you!

Just watching your Process and how you apply your Knowledge/ Insight and " How to use these 2 things combined.." is so great. ..
I absolutely agreed about the Paint and those related Products... your putting those all together is what was needed ,and of course, you knew that .! I am just in awe of what a wonderful job you did for an Educator, ..yes, they do spend thier own $$ for things, which I know first - hand ,having known several Teachers, and having been a Parent Volunteer. ..They do so much to help foster a Love of Learning. I offer Gratitude and Appreciation for those Educators that give so much of Themselves, thier Time, thier Resources ,to create the Positive Influence that gives children t h e d e s i r e to achieve and do that to the best of thier capabilities/ abilities. 🙏🏻✨️
What a special Gift to this Educator to feel that the Room is " ready to go " when the time arrives ,and how that must feel to know " it is one less thing to have concern over " ...
May she receive every Blessing meant for her and h e r Students. You indeed provided such a Blessing for her to get it started ! I was so excited about this project! I truly appreciate all that teachers do! They are going in so many directions and moving from one activity to another. They don’t have the luxury of time to dig for items and they certainly don’t have time to put things away if they don’t have a system in place! It is go go go go!
