Random question - my Legion Go says in the bottom right “Activate Windows” - assuming this means I need to buy a windows key for it, but wanted to check before I spent the money. Thanks as always mate
Ya, that means you gotta buy windows. However, your Legion Go should have come with its own Windows license already. I would say contact lenovo or/and the seller you purchased it from to clear that up. You shouldn't have to buy windows again for a device that comes with it.
I just bought the legion Go hoping to play maple royals(a private server). But have been running in issues when trying to start the game up (probably due to resolution). Maple royals only runs in 800x600 or 1024x720 but the legion does not have those res in built. I have tried customising my legions display res with CRUs etc but it does not seem to work ): do you have any idea how I can go about this? I have seen others successfully playing the game on steam deck and ROG ally.
@@JamaltLee question, do you have a shadower bossing mule? Is it possible to make one key do two inputs on maple? Like using assassinate and mess explosion over and over, with just one key?
I think you can set up multi key inputs in steam input, and I never had any issues with bounty portals. I use them all the time with no issue on my Legion Go.
@@JamaltLee I just got my LeGO, and set it up, I’ll test it today… I couldn’t find a way in steam for it to let me setup the buttons on the back on the controller as buff keys. But there has to be a way lol
Yeah overall. The rog ally has slightly better performance and ergonomics, but the Legion go is so flexible in terms of how you can play. Detachable controllers, two usb ports, bigger screen, and bigger battery. These things put it over the Ally for me.
There's not much of a difference. One advantage with steam input, I guess, is that you can export and save your setups. I'm not sure if you can do this in legion space.
This is a handheld gaming pc. It's basically a full Windows computer in the form factor of a gaming device. You don't need a gaming desktop or anything additional to use this device because it's a full computer. You can download games on it and play them straight for the handheld itself. Additionally, you can use it for other computer things like web browsing or work related stuff. It's compatible with keyboards, mouses, and external monitors, so you can use it on the go like a laptop/tablet or at a desk like a desktop.
@@JamaltLee Thanks brother, I have a macbook and tired of Apple having lack of flexibility. I hope this device helps. Would love your video on it and if we can plug it into HDMI, or add SSD etc.
@akin1092 Yeah, you should be able to play fallout. You can play most pc games. You just might have to tweak settings to make them run at your preferred fps and graphics standard.
@@sogoosaka1 looool it's a male character, but I just happened to be leveling a link skill character, so I was on that during this video. That character was made back in the time when character classes had locked skin tones.

You're actually holding it down for all Maplers with this video. This will be a beneficial video even years from now!

I'm not sure how to fix this issue, but I'll look into it and see what I can do.
@@JamaltLee You’re the best dude! Thanks for your help (:
Great video, also If I’m buying the legion go only for playing maplestory would you recommend the 512gb or the 1tb version?
Thank you 🙏🏿.
The 512gb should definitely be enough if it's just for Maplestory.
Is it possible to run it with nexon launcher? Or do we need steam
You can run it without steam and just use the built-in controls in Legion space
@@JamaltLee alright ty, just bought one myself today. Can’t wait to install it
Do you have a video on how to set up the controller withouth steam?
More MS videos on handheld???
Coming soon

Would you be willing to do a video for people who don't use steam?
Yeah, I'm going to work on that soon
Do you prefer this over the rog ally?
Yeah overall. The rog ally has slightly better performance and ergonomics, but the Legion go is so flexible in terms of how you can play. Detachable controllers, two usb ports, bigger screen, and bigger battery. These things put it over the Ally for me.
Any reason not to use the mapping configuration of the legion space itself? or is it the same?

@@JamaltLee Is it that Steam does not recognize the back buttons of the Lenovo or is it possible?
Is it playable with exitlag?
Whats exitlag?
What is this machine and how can someone without gaming desktop benefit this
