- Some views in torrential rain of the Bo'ness Diesel Running Day on 29th December 2021.
With a passenger cap of Two Hundred due to Covid restrictions all tickets were sold.
A big thanks to GB Railfreight who supplied Class 66773 and thanks to everyone who attended.
Call me weird but I do like the rhythm of an idling Class 66.
Thousands of yanks would agree with you
Well I must be weird also.... By far, my favourite class of loco........ Oh....... And the 37......
Really nice the UK is taking diesel heritage seriously Vs the disaster that happened to Steam locomotives
We take it seriously.
Do love the sound of a 37.
Nicely filmed with atmospheric shots
Thanks for your comments.
A 66 running a passenger train is a bit sus
Where is this place? 🧐
Bo'ness, in central Scotland.
Yours Truly Filming the train arriving from 5:35 to 6:09
Hope you enjoyed the day despite the wet weather.
Brilliant video
Thanks
Super.
Great video👍
Thanks.
I'm liking this!
Class 66 sound sweet as a nut. 🌈👍
Great video that 37403 sounds so good, also nice to get a GBRf shed too.
Thanks.
Gutted I couldn’t go due to the restrictions. Nice video
Restrictions?
@@AndreiTupolev
The Scottish Government restricted us to 200 passengers, no one was allowed on the station without a prebooked ticket.
Class 66 have a beautiful diesel sound.
Nice video, thanks for filming this in the rain
Thanks for your comments.
403 sounds awesome! As does 47643, nice video 👍👍👍
Thanks.
Remember this ,The weather was not good until early afternoon ,Fab day to see 27001,66773,37403 & 47643., Classic clag at bo'ness ❤️29/12/21
47643 was providing ETH, I take it? I see there's a Class 314 in the yard as well, now numbered 614. Is that that experimental hydrogen thingumijig?
You are correct, the ex-314 was moved near the station to allow viewing by those who attended.
Enjoyed the day but the weather was crap in the morning
Couldn't get tickets unfortunately.
The class 26 or 27s wiper broke
good job
Thanks.
Can i go and see the 303 or was that just a special
The 303 will be viewable in the display shelter next to the diesel shed next year after we open the public pathway.
Thanks so much
Sorry not next year but This year.
Ok
Wish i lived nearer, id love to volunteer here.
Lovely 303 😭😭😭
Ugh... such a shame that the alphabet people got their imagery on 66773 :/
Sorry, Im not on the same wavelength as you but thanks for your comment.
Impressed to see the 314 hidden there. Wonder if it will remain in preservation once the hydrogen experiments are done.
Thats up the owners.
@@BONESS27001 indeed - rhetorical question.
Great video, wish I could have been there!
Thanks .
Running a diesel day when conditions are wet and cold can be rather hard
Very very cold and very very wet.
1 face : 1 people
2 faces : 1 people = double-face = ta-lam 2 mu-ka
wa-jah = mu-ka = face

hi great video, why was a 66 used when there are a class20 and 27 sitting in the yard and other locos, pity about the weather,
I think the 20 broke (as usual)
the Bo'ness 20 is broke, but the two DRS ones were very operational, but don't belong to Bo'ness. The 27 in the yard is dead, the only operational one did haul trains. And the 66 was used as it's a guest, no one has ever had haulage on that locomotive
@@joshueboueerr2463 are there people who want 66 haulage ?? There used to be a day when nameplates were special on a loco as well, now we have a named loco for peoples sexuality !!!! I cant wait to get 66 haulage behind the bondage engine
@@nickedwards2904 blatant homophobia isn't a good luck mate. Pipe down
@@joshueboueerr2463
The Bo'ness Class 20 isn't broke but needs some power unit work and is only used as a yard shunter for now.
