Fantastic finger skills bro. I play drums, bass, and guitar mostly. Funny enough, my first instrument was a Casio keyboard back in the 80's, but I think it mainly trained my ears rather than my hands, as even today all I can play are C triads & basic chord shapes. Recently been getting into Midi keys though, so thanks for looking out. I may have to spring for this upgrade. I'll be sure to use your link if I do. Cheers.
hello friend help me please I have this driver but sometimes it stops ringing it is like it does not recognize the software or the vst minigrand ext bun friend has the previous version and the same thing happens but mys this new help me please greetings from chile thanks
Hey man, i just bought one too... And i want to connect it to an external speakers. But once i connect a speaker it makes a disturbing noise and not play at all... Can you help me out?
You have showed that it is a capable controller. Now I want to get one. It would be nice above my Casio XW-p1 which is above my Hammer 88. Nicely done, sir, nicely done. I have been wanting more features (pads, knobs and faders) but didn't want to get more than I really need. Thank YOU!
@@DanielSekovski Actually what I bought was the Mk4 (used as-new with a pedal). They have slightly heavy keys and don't make plastic noise like a Keystation 49e I had. What I can tell you is that Mk3 OXYGEN is very well spoken too. There is a simpler model, the Keystation lll Mk3 that seems to have the noisiest keys, no pads... And as I said, the Mk3 Oxygen is quite old.
Man M-Audio has great ideas. If this was out two months ago might have it instead of the Oxygen Pro 49! Very pleased w/ the Pro, though, just impressed they put the features at that Oxygen V price range.
Hello, I love your videos. I always check your channel when I ask myself questions about a controller. I was wondering if it's the same keybed as the Keystation MK3 ?
It looks like a very nice kb deal. I was looking at the Nektar Impact LX25+ but it has no arpeggiator which I would most likely use. (price range is more ideal for me)
Great video with the important information (Thanks for the on/of button, which is very important). Your skills are also great man. How to play the keys is just wow. That is Air MiniGrand isn't? Thank you very much. It seems a cool controller.
When you hit "AUTO" knob within the controller, does it automatically map to parameters within the DAW? Something is wrong with my controller... I can manually remap midi ( map manually my midi controllers to whatever midi mappeable parameter within the daw), but auto map doesn't work although the button turns green....
Hi, could you make a video on keyboard arpeggiator functions vs using the daw for arpeggiator. ie. LX25+ which doesn't have arpeggiator support but I like the features. Like to see arpeggiator in use and the difference between hw use and sw use. Thanks
I wonder too if the keybed is going to be as good as the keystation 49 (the old version, I think it's called MK2). Very quiet, smooth and simple. If it is then I might get it but if it's going to be stiff/clicky then I might just stick with the old versions. I even bought a keyrig. (the really old ones from m-audio) and I love the keybed in these so much. Just wish there was a 61 version with those keys so maybe this one will be good I will have to test it when it's in the store here.
Hey Mike! I love your videos. They are really helpful for me especially that I am planning to buy m-audio mkv maybe this month or next month. I am just wondering if are there any changes in performance after a few months? Thank you very much.

Im torn between this and the launchpad MK3 from Novation. The launchpad is on sale at my local store, the oxygen MKV is backordered. Im a pianist and really need a good Keybed. Would the wait be worth it for the keybed? Or are they both similar? Thank you so much for you videos!
Hey John! You have tried a lot of keys... Is there any substantial difference between the Oxygen series? I mean, how does this compare to oxygen 61 mk3?
Dumb question -- are the pads programmable in any way for DAW control or are they just for drumming? If so - do the backlit colours change depending on what you are controlling? I am thinking of how this compares to in the Oxygen Pro and Launchkey controllers within the likes of Ableton, GB and LogicX.
@@Johnmike Thanks -- what about mapping quantise functions? The Launchkey MK3 has that slick button and the Oxygen Pro seems to have it mapped to one of the pads.
Hey Mike, can you make a video talking about all the things and their work that one needs in a professional studio? Not home studio, professional studio, like the ones big names like Eminem have
Is it still good, Im planning to get it but read alot of people reviews saying that it don't work well after some time, like some keys, modulation wheel don't work, and are its pads good?
The pitch bend on my recently bought unit makes a notable to me click noise when moved. See this video where I attempt to show this: ruclips.net/video/WjMOuEynQ_g/видео.html so id ask John Mike or any other another Oxygen V owner.. how is your pitch bend wheel, do you have the same behaviour ?

I'm not sure if I want this keyboard or the Arturai mkII. There's a couple in my area in mint condition at half price.

Keyscape
Thanks for the review. Has anyone figured out how to turn off that stupid blinking tempo button? I bought the 61.
