Keys yellow because of the oxidative effect on the material the keys are made of: acrylic plastic and polycarbonate. UV light catalyses the reaction. Some of it can be prevented with a keyboard cover/ avoiding sunlight, and some people use a high grit emery cloth (100 grit or higher) to remove surfance oxidation sometimes.
I have had this keyboard since it came out and it still works just as good as the day I got it. It's literally sitting next to me and gets used every track I make. It's basic but it works!
That was one of my firsts keybs, I bough it used with key damage, fixed it and sold it more expensive, with that money I got a damaged Alesis Q49, fixed it and sold it more expensive, 2 weeks ago I got a new Nektar LX61+ at a discount for cyber day xD.... I'm SOOOO happy with this keyb 2:20 The yellow color is because the keys are made of polymer, and those kind of "plastics" have a hard time under UV light (like natural day light reaching your room) The problem with that Keystation keyb is that the keys are hold in place via a thin plastic bridge that is screwed to the base of the keybed, and over time, that bridge tends to break, I really don't recommend this keyboard if you plan to keep it for many years. Other keyboards Like the Alesis Q49 have a really good keybed and the keys are hold in position via strong springs.
